Vicino all’ingresso nella foresta. Ci hanno fornito tour nella giungla con guida altrettanto super. Non posso che consigliare questa location!

Situato a Deniyaya, il Sinharaja Kurulu Ella Eco Resort offre la vista sul fiume, un ristorante e il servizio in camera. La connessione Wi-Fi e il parcheggio privato sono accessibili gratuitamente. La strada che porta alla struttura si addentra nella foresta e arriva ad una struttura bellissima! Le camere sono ampie, pulite e con una vetrata sul bellissimo paesaggio! I proprietari sono molto gentili e disponibili, ci hanno accolto con un drink di benvenuto e sono venuti incontro ad ogni necessità. Anche la guida che ci ha accompagnato nell'escursione nella foresta é stata molto brava, preparata e sempre sorridente! Assolutamente consigliato!

Situato a Deniyaya, il Rainforest Mount Lodge offre un barbecue e la vista sulle montagne. A due passi dall’ingresso della rainforest, vista dalla camera mozzafiato con terrazzo privato. Camera molto pulita, staff gentile e disponibile. Abbiamo cenato lì: molto buona. Abbiamo fatto trekking nella giungla: guida preparata, molto interessante.

My recent stay at Charming Dark Lodge in River was nothing short of exceptional, marking it as the best homestay experience I have ever encountered. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and hospitality that exceeded all expectations. The highlight of our stay was undeniably our incredible host, who spared no effort in ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. From delicious lunches and dinners to delightful surprises and the most mouth-watering fish barbecue - probably the best meal I have had in the two months I have been in Sri Lanka. Beyond the culinary delights, our room was a sanctuary of comfort and style. Immaculately clean, equipped with a kitchen containing everything one could possibly need, and beautifully built and decorated. Originally intending to stay for four nights, we found ourselves captivated by the charm of Charming Dark Lodge, extending our stay to twelve nights. Departing was bittersweet, as we had grown attached to the unparalleled hospitality and the tranquil ambiance of our temporary home. A particularly memorable moment was celebrating my birthday during our stay. Our host went above and beyond to ensure it was an unforgettable occasion, adding a personal touch that truly made me feel special. Without a doubt, if I ever find myself in Sri Lanka again, Charming Dark Lodge will be my first choice for accommodation. Its unmatched hospitality, and inviting ambiance have left an indelible mark on my travel memories. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a truly exceptional homestay experience in Sri Lanka.

Offering a garden and pool view, Greencliff Mirissa is situated in Mirissa, 2.8 km from Weligama Beach and 34 km from Galle International Cricket Stadium. The property was very clean, beautiful and exactly what we saw on pictures. The staff was helpful and friendly. The location is great but not if you don't have scooter or other transport, it is not near the central way or beach by feet.

Set in Weligama, Subodinee Bungalow offers free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden, a terrace and a restaurant. Quiet with a lot of wildlife nearby many birds and monkeys

From my heart: Apart from a really incredible picturesque location, which would really touch something inside your inner world, the staff’s scrupulous attention to your needs makes this stay unforgettable and gives the warmth as if you are staying at home. The hosts are amazing!! It's run by two brothers on their parents' tea plantation. The two brothers are helpful, caring, polite, and very eager to show you around in their village. And I will absolutely encourage you to let them show you around. Their mum makes the most delicious meals, better than any restaurants I've visited during my 3 weeks stay. The little house has a beautiful view of the rain forest. I really enjoyed sitting on the little balcony drinking coffee. It's a kettle in the room so you can have coffee or tea whenever you like to. They also arranged a walk in Sinharaja for me, it was a very nice walk, about 4 hours. We didn't see a lot, so if you're interested in birds, I will recommend doing some of the longer hikes. And even go in another gate than the closest one.

Situato a Midigama, a 6 km da Ahangama e a 26 km da Galle, il The Whitegates Lodge vanta un giardino e servizi gratuiti come la connessione WiFi e il parcheggio privato in loco. This was our favourite stay in Sri Lanka! Soo clean and no bugs at all, not even an ant, crazy! The host is super nice and welcoming. Lots of big water bottles you can buy for 70s only and place in your private fridge. The bed is comfy, four pillows, great water pressure, fantastic a/c and the breakfast is amazing. Wifi also worked great in our room and in the courtyard area. Our favourite aspect was the wild beach 1min wall away. It's the best swimming beach, very private, and there's a delicious restaurant there where we ate fried rice everyday for lunch for 500 rs. We stayed here for 3 nights but could easily have stayed longer. Highly recommend you stay here.
