Featuring a garden and sun terrace, Sangany Lodge offers detached bungalows on the beach in the north of Nosy-Be Island. A beautiful quiet location! The pictures don’t do it justice, when we arrived we had flowers scattered on the floor and in the bath - what a treat! The food was amazing, everyone was very friendly, and accommodating and it was an all round amazing stay. We took a trip with the local guides to Nosy Fahny, we went in a local fishing boat, went snorkelling and then sunbathed on a desert island. A memory we won’t forget! Special thanks to Yvonne for helping us with transfers, guides and making us feel so at home. Also a big thank you to Lloris for being so attentive and lovely!

Colibri Lodge, a property with a garden, is situated in Ambatoloaka, a few steps from Ambatoloaka Beach, 500 metres from Madirokely Beach, as well as 16 km from Lokobe Reserve. Nice bungalow with terrace and beautiful view, cooking facilities for a little breakfast or coffee break, family atmosphere, great host, as has already been said, you reach the facility via a steep road of maybe 50 meters, no problem for me, that keeps fit.

Situated right on the ocean's edge, most bungalows offered breathtaking views that made us feel as if we were a part of the seascape. The natural infinity pool wasn't just a pool; it was a frame for the living artwork that is the ocean and sky.With only around 10 bungalows, the lodge provided an intimate, familial atmosphere. The staff wasn't just courteous; they embodied a level of hospitality that made us feel as if we had been welcomed into a home.But what set this place apart was its harmonious coexistence with nature. Opening the wooden shutter in the morning was like opening a portal to an enchanting world—where the ocean smiled back at us, diverse animal calls serenaded us, and even a friendly gecko might greet you from the ceiling. It was a level of interconnectedness with nature that is seldom found in the western world.Now that we've returned from this slice of paradise, the memories continue to mesmerize us. We owe a huge thank you to Evra, the service team, and especially Luc for making our stay on Nosy-Be a remarkable one. We are still ecstatic about the many beautiful moments we experienced and we will unquestionably return.
