Host was excellent Lynn made sure we got to the prperty okay. Cottage a hidden gem, a nice romantic getaway. Location peaceful and handy walking distance to Akaroa. FIre was a nice treat and the cottage was warm and cosy.

Mary was a lovely host, the room was very clean, the shower was great, the kitchen was very well equipped, the view from every room was stunning.

The property offers views of Lake Benmore and Aoraki Mt Cook. Located perfectly for star gazing. Everything, though about 10 minutes off the beaten path it didn’t matter once you got there. On the front porch you looked right at Mount Cook. The house itself was immaculate and the appointments were top notch. If you are staying for a few days do not miss this one.

We didnt want to leave.

This 2-bedroom holiday home is a 2-minute drive from The Cairns Golf Course and a 3-minute drive from Church of the Good Shepard. Tekapo Springs and Alpine Springs & Spa are both 4 minutes’ drive away. Surprisingly good. Much better than what you can observe via the photos of introduction. Host team was very friendly and gave us good advices in hiking and visiting. Room proper and warm. Highly recommended.
