He made sure I had everything I needed and really made me feel at home. The beautiful scenery surrounding the property added to the overall experience, making my stay even more enjoyable. The space was clean, cosy, and had everything I needed, I can't wait to come back again!

Clare is lovely and very welcoming with information about the area, suggestions of places to visit and eat. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to our patio. Being outside of town was peaceful, and still easy to get to everything.

Each cabin is equipped with tea/coffee making facilities, a small refrigerator and a TV. All have private bathrooms. You can prepare a meal in the alfresco shared kitchen/dining area, which is located in the centre of the property. Linen is supplied to all units. i just had a smile all the time whilst staying here. there is a serenity here.

Wairua Lodge is a 15-minute drive from Whitianga and a 30-minute drive from Hotwater Beach. Cathedral Cove is a 35-minute drive and Auckland International Airport is a 2.5 hour drive away. Perfect place to stay! Best accomodation we had, not only on the North Island but in total during our 5 weeks NZ trip on both islands! The room was nicely furnitured, the amenities around were awesome - Swiss firering for BBQ with free Marshmallows, a jaccuzi to watch the stars at night, a Treetop bath-house with rainforrest view, a couple of nice and exciting walks through the rainforest, natural pools in the river and even glowworms at night. The pictures don't lie - reality is even better! And for those who still wanted to leave the premises during their stay (which would not be necessary as you've literally got everthing there already to spend some relaxing days), they also borrow spades to dig holes in the Hot water beach and also had some great recommendations on what to do when. Will definitely book again if we're in the area!

Good bed and loved the pillows. Amazing views. Peaceful location: quiet and relaxing.

The nearest airport is Tauranga Airport, 66 km from Franvannah Cabin. We had a wonderful time at this lovely cabin! Lucy and Paddy are the best hosts anyone can ever wish for, they were extremely kind to us, even showed us around their amazing farm. The house has everything you'll need for a comfortable stay, and it's located in a peaceful and beautiful environment. We definitely recommend it, and hope to come back some day.
