Excellent quiet property with new, top-tier fittings and fixures, friendly and helpful host, very comfortable beds, well equipped coffee/tea making facilities, room cleaned daily, continental breakfast stocked daily in the fridge in the room - allowed us to eat at leisure at our own time! Great view of Mt Taranki from the room (courtesty - clouds permitting, see attached pic). 6 min drive to Stratford town, 35 min drive to New Plymouth.

Just a 3-minute drive from the heart of Hawera, Tudor Lodge Motel offers free WiFi and BBQ facilities. The majority of the heated guest rooms feature a spa bath, a flat-screen TV and a kitchenette. Quiet, clean, on the direct route we were taking. Fantastic managers. They let us use their laundry machine. Very comfortable beds. Eat at the Rough House and stop by Anderson Pies for fresh ones. They deserve a 10.0.

Very conveniently located to New Plymouth. The rooms were spacious alowing family to come and visit and enjoy a brew. Easy to access and ease of use of facilities for my elderly parents.

Serenity Lodge Getaway is located in Egmont Village, 12 km from Brooklands Zoo, 12 km from TSB Stadium, as well as 13 km from Pukekura Park. Great for a family It was a lovely home in a great location and it was well equipped and clean

Located in New Plymouth and only 7.2 km from Yarrow Stadium, Cosy Country Cottage on a Sunny Hill provides accommodation with city views, free WiFi and free private parking. what a beautifully decorated separate bungalow on a hill over looking area out to ocean. Truly lovely site not far from city center.

The River Retreat Off The Grid, a property with barbecue facilities, is located in Inglewood, 22 km from Yarrow Stadium, 20 km from Brooklands Zoo, as well as 20 km from TSB Stadium. Perfectly set up with everything we needed and then some

Patuha Rainforest Retreat is nestled in a native rainforest, between Kaitake and Pouakai Ranges. It offers free WiFi, parking and a mezzanine-floor lounge with a pool table. Beautiful location in native bush, it was so quiet and restful enjoyed the small bush walks. The proprietor was warm and friendly. Lovely continental breakfast and great French pressed coffee. We sharpened our pool playing skills. Perfect place for R&R, a small family gathering (10 double rooms approx) a French chef is available to cater for larger groups by prior arrangement. We will definitely be back.

Featuring a bar, Fernlodge Inglewood is located in Inglewood in the Taranaki region, 20 km from Yarrow Stadium and 18 km from Brooklands Zoo. The house is older but is up kept with lots of love. My room had a sink in it which was really nice, otherwise it was a very small room with a bed but just enough for me for an overnight stay. There is a common kitchen area and lounge, and two shared bathroom areas. The car park is in the back and you have to walk all the way around to go in and out of the front door to the car park, which isn't too bad but something to consider for mobility limitations or if you have a lot to carry to your room. There is a pub and a restaurant on the bottom floor and the accomodations are on the second floor accessed by stairs inside. I enjoyed my stay here and found it very pleasant. The price was higher than I would have expected but closer to fair than others I looked at in the area.
