We had the most amazing time at Sotupa eco lodge. From our arrival we were greeted by George, the manager, with fresh passion fruit juice and every day we enjoyed absolutely delicious local dishes and beverages, all ingredients locally sourced. The activities and excursions were incredible and Ciro, our guide so knowledgeable. We got to explore both the river and the surrounding forrest, both of which we could also see from our tranquil balcony. We learned to weave hats and baskets with palm leaves from Allen and lounged in the pool and on the deck. By our departure the staff had begun to feel like family and if we are so lucky, we will definitely return someday.

The cottages are super clean and the family that runs the hotel is very very nice! We stayed for two nights and had breakfast and dinner in the hotel both nights. It was so delicious. We booked the tour directly through them so they drove us and picked us up which was very convenient.

There is nothing you won’t love about this place. It’s in the middle of the jungle so you will be able to enjoy the sounds of the birds, monkeys and other animals. Vanessa (the owner) really takes care of you! The food is great and very healthy. You will be able to taste new fruits, vegan dishes and wonderful desert. Even if you are not a yoga person, you should really try a yoga lesson with Vanessa, especially recreational yoga. It’s a must! Now there is also a small pool so you will be able to enjoy the place even more!

Hacienda Herrera Tambopata í Puerto Maldonado býður upp á gistirými, garð, verönd og garðútsýni. Boðið er upp á ókeypis akstur til og frá flugvellinum eða rútustöðinni. Amazing location in the amazon with delicious and varied food! Very helpful and welcoming staff both at the hacienda end on the tours. Loved the Macaw clay lick and the lake Sandoval tours. Basic but clean and atmospheric rooms.

Ecoamazonia Lodge býður upp á garð og gistirými í Puerto Maldonado Jungle í Perú. Allar máltíðir eru innifaldar í verðinu. Allar gistieiningarnar eru með setusvæði. Beautiful property in the middle of the jungle. We looked at several other lodges but picked this one for it's more modern amenities. This is an all inclusive lodge. Rooms are screened in (not all lodges are) with 5500 acres to themselves. The cost includes daily excursions around the many trails that they created for the guests leisure. The trails take you in to the depth of the jungle while experiencing the beauty that it offers - monkeys, birds, tarantulas, snakes etc. Guilds were extremely knowledgeable and kind. always on the lookout for things to see. Things to consider - bug spray - the local ones work better than the US ones that we brought. Clothing - while hiking - long airy pants and quick dry long (or short) shirts will make your hike more enjoyable. I brought 2 but I wish I had 4-5. Best room is called "Tarzan". We stayed in "Tucan" which was OK but close to other visitors. Hard to describe but you can hear anyone in proximity to your room since it is all screened in. Staff was SUPER hard working. They were on their feet from 4 am to 10 pm daily. I have to tip my hand to these folks, simply incredible! 10 thumbs up for the staff

Inkaterra Hacienda Concepcion er staðsett í Puerto Maldonado og er umkringt gróskumiklum suðrænum regnskógi og er aðgengilegur á Madre de Dios-árfarveginum frá höfninni Puerto Maldonado. Very nice accomodation, very good Food. I liked that everything was organized and you could just follow the trips that were planned. Very nice staff

Wasai Tambopata Lodge er staðsett í hjarta Tambopata Candamo-friðlandsins og býður gestum upp á Amazon Expeditions og ókeypis WiFi. Einnig er hægt að skipuleggja veiðiferðir á svæðinu. Wasai Lodge completely exceeded our expectations on every level. The staff were so kind and friendly, the rooms were fabulous right on the river with very comfortable beds. Food was amazing with a huge amount of variety. Our guide, Efrain, was so knowledgeable, engaging, funny and made our trip even more fantastic - he was born to be an Amazon tour guide!! Clem who runs the lodge was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay and was always on hand to answer questions. We felt very safe during our stay. This is an amazing lodge and would highly recommend it!

La Habana Conservation Area er staðsett í Puerto Maldonado og býður upp á gistirými með svölum. Það er með fullbúið sérbaðherbergi með sturtu og ókeypis snyrtivörum. We loved a few days of relaxing by the pool in a little slice of paradise. The staff were exceptionally accommodating, the food was delicious and the scenery was beautiful.
