Our host and his family went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and were always there if we needed anything. Be prepared for the cold at night but the stunning sunset and sunrise will keep your body and spirit warm.

I honestly feel so lucky that I decided to stay at this place. The room is huge with a breathtaking view for sunset and sunrise. It’s completely quite and you feel alone with only nature and ducks around you. Carlos was such an amazing host, taking the time to explain to me the history of the lake, the culture. I was basically alone with him in the boat having a tour of the island, far from the mass tourism. If you truly want a one of a kind experience, book here and with no hesitation. Specially when I heard many people not having a good experience at lake, because they stayed at Puno or a different place. I feel so fortunate that I was able to have a complete opposite experience. Situated in Puno, Titicaca Aruntawi Lodge Peru offers accommodation with views of the lake, and breakfast included every day. Sleeping on the floating island on the lake Titicaca was an amazing experience for us! All rooms have wonderful views over the Titicaca. We watched sunset from the bed on our terrace, it was absolutely amazing. Eddy and his family was perfect hosts and we enjoyed our stay a lot. They cooked very good dinner (10usd per person) and breakfast for us and we also had a lot of coca tea. We also had a tour around Uros islands (10 usd per person) with Eddy which was very interesting. He speaks good English what is not so common in South America.

Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountain, Uros Samarana Uta Lodge is situated in Puno. Titicaca Lake is 7 km from the property. Cesar and Lucy were great hosts. Cesar gave us a very nice tour around his community and answered lots of our questions. He also took us to his son's school to pick him up. We saw how the elementary school was run in the community and got to meet the children and teachers, which was a very unique and memorable experience. Lucy fed us really well with different kinds of food, including trout, chicken and fruits. The view was amazing from our room. We saw some pink and purple thunderstorm at night. The bed was very comfortable with soft linens. It was cold at night and hot in the middle of the day, so prepare to wear layers. The room has a gas powered heater and thick blankets, which kept us warm at night. Instead of paying money to a tourist agency, we paid directly to the host. We were happy that we could support locals in this way, as their economy heavily relies on tourism.

Located on Uros floating island, Uros Summa Paqari is situated in Puno, 7 km from Titicaca Lake. Puno Port is 5 km away. All rooms are fitted with private bathroom facilities. The location had amazing views - what else could you ask for being situated in the middle of Lake Titicaca. Vidal and his family were lovely and friendly. The rooms was exactly as the photo depicted. Our favorite spot would be the lounge area by the lake where you can just sit the whole day. The bathroom is also very comfortable - their toilet is flushable and they have a water heater. Lots of blankets are provided to keep you warm during the night. The food they served though simple was actually one of the best we had in Peru, and that's after dining at Lima and Cusco.

Located 5 km off the coast of Puno and built on the Uros floating islands, Uros Qhantany Lodge offers accommodations in the middle of Lake Titicaca. The coast of Puno is a 30-minute sail away. Lovely experience for one night. We had lunch and dinner, plenty of tasty food. Just be aware to bring cash- it’s not possible to pay with card, and there are also some extra fees- like transfer from the city, or entrance to Titicaca lake

Boasting a garden, a terrace, and a restaurant, Uros Titicaca coila lodge offers accommodation in Puno with free WiFi and city views. This lodge provides air-conditioned accommodation with a balcony. Everything. The location was incredible, but what I liked the most was the host- I felt like staying in a family and would have wished to stay longer. Us Pagara. :)

Featuring a garden, a terrace as well as a restaurant, Titicaca tikary's lodge is set in Puno, within 5.9 km of Estadio Enrique Torres Belon and 5.9 km of Puno Port. I think it was the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in! There are 3 houses on a floating island, owned by a father and a son. They are extremely nice people! The price is ridiculously small for what they offer. The view from the huge windows of the house is amazing, and so is the stay on the floating terrace.
