I honestly feel so lucky that I decided to stay at this place. The room is huge with a breathtaking view for sunset and sunrise. It’s completely quite and you feel alone with only nature and ducks around you. Carlos was such an amazing host, taking the time to explain to me the history of the lake, the culture. I was basically alone with him in the boat having a tour of the island, far from the mass tourism. If you truly want a one of a kind experience, book here and with no hesitation. Specially when I heard many people not having a good experience at lake, because they stayed at Puno or a different place. I feel so fortunate that I was able to have a complete opposite experience. Offering a sun terrace and views of the mountain, Uros Samarana Uta Lodge is situated in Puno. Titicaca Lake is 7 km from the property. Cesar and Lucy were great hosts. Cesar gave us a very nice tour around his community and answered lots of our questions. He also took us to his son's school to pick him up. We saw how the elementary school was run in the community and got to meet the children and teachers, which was a very unique and memorable experience. Lucy fed us really well with different kinds of food, including trout, chicken and fruits. The view was amazing from our room. We saw some pink and purple thunderstorm at night. The bed was very comfortable with soft linens. It was cold at night and hot in the middle of the day, so prepare to wear layers. The room has a gas powered heater and thick blankets, which kept us warm at night. Instead of paying money to a tourist agency, we paid directly to the host. We were happy that we could support locals in this way, as their economy heavily relies on tourism.

Built on the floating islands of Uros, a 30-minute sail off the coast of Puno, UROS TITICACA LODGE Puno Peru offers accommodations in the highest navigable lake in the world. What a magical place! What Ivan and his family have built is truly amazing: from the comfortable rooms with bio toilets and hot water shower, the super nice sun (and star gazing) decks with hammocks and sunbeds, to the spacious lobby and dining area. On top of that, Ivan and his family are super nice and attentive hosts, and listening to their stories was a true highlight of our stay. Please be aware that they’re literally sharing their home and their resources with you. A home that requires a lot of maintenance and constant care, and resources that are definitely not as easy to acquire as the centralized electricity and drinkable tap water that some of us are accustomed to. That deserves immense respect and consideration. This island is quite far from the more touristy part of the Puno side of the Titicaca lake (about 15 mins by boat). This means that you’ll really get to experience how these communities live, as well as the silence and beautiful nature around you. However, this also means that you have to come very well prepared and dress accordingly, as the boat ride will be chilly - although blankets are provided on the boat to keep you warm - but also breathtakingly beautiful. I have never written such a long review and there’s really so much more I would like to say about this magicalw place but if there is one thing I’d like all future visitors of Uros Titicaca Lodge to know is this: this i s their home, and their way of life, which they hold dear above all else. So be kind. And dress properly ;)

Located on Uros floating island, Uros Summa Paqari is situated in Puno, 7 km from Titicaca Lake. Puno Port is 5 km away. All rooms are fitted with private bathroom facilities. The staff are amazing, once in a lifetime experience. we loved every minute of it

Located 5 km off the coast of Puno and built on the Uros floating islands, Uros Qhantany Lodge offers accommodations in the middle of Lake Titicaca. The coast of Puno is a 30-minute sail away. Our group of 4 loved our stay at this lodge on 10/1/23! It was clean, warm and above all the staff were amazing and treated us like family. The food was delicious and so was the wine and tea. Our bed had plenty of blankets that kept us warm and the water bottles they put in your bed at night just added to the coziness. The sunset was beautiful, at dusk many birds & ducks were flying around that were entertaining to watch & listen to. We were able to take the canoe out ourselves the following morning so I could spread my sons cremains on Lake Titicaca. The morning fog rising from the lake was beautiful and the sun popped out right afterwards. I'd definitely recommend this lodge to everyone!

The location was incredible, but what I liked the most was the host- I felt like staying in a family and would have wished to stay longer. Us Pagara. :)

I think it was the most beautiful place I've ever stayed in! There are 3 houses on a floating island, owned by a father and a son. They are extremely nice people! The price is ridiculously small for what they offer. The view from the huge windows of the house is amazing, and so is the stay on the floating terrace.
