Social Lodge - Happiness bevindt zich in Funchal, op 15 minuten lopen van Praia do Almirante Reis en 300 meter van het centrum, en biedt accommodatie met airconditioning, gratis WiFi, en een terras. Excellent stay!! Location: perfect. 2 min from airport bus stop and la vie mall which has Pingo Doche supermarket . 1 min to SAM bus terminal. As we didn’t rent a car, it was perfect taking bus to places we wanted ( or transport pick up services to hiking)5 min to promenade and 15 min to old town. Unit 3A: our unit is big and kitchen has everything we need that we cooked most of our meals during our 8 days stay. Bring all herbs/oil/salt/pepper with you if you don’t want to buy at supermarket. There are 3 dolce gusto capsules and 3 tea bags. Dish detergent/capsules and shower gels. Extra towels and bedsheets in the closet in case we needed them. There is a car/motercycle rental next door if you want to rent a car. Communication is perfect with whatsapp and instructions via video. Overall we had a great stay and wish we could stay longer!

Good Memories Lodge bevindt zich in Funchal, op minder dan 1 km van Praia do Almirante Reis en 9 minuten lopen van Marina do Funchal. Groot en sfeervol appartement hartje centrum Funchal. We werden warm ontvangen. Er is geen parkeergelegenheid, maar we konden heel dichtbij parkeren bij een nabijgelegen hotel.

Social Lodge - Piornais heeft uitzicht op de tuin, en biedt accommodatie met een terras en een koffiezetapparaat, op ongeveer 15 minuten lopen van Praia Formosa. New, clean place with almost everything you need ! This place offers 2 beds + extra bed on a larger sofa. We were just one couple so we enjoyed the space and it was comfortable for us. Place is well equiped with all stuff you need for a comfortable stay. Beds and restroom/shower are downstars in an area which has just one tiny window so that might be a minus for some one. But on the other hand its a colder place during hot days ! Beds are great and comfortable as well as big variety of pillows. Bathroom is also new as well. The owner is VERY KIND and HELPFULL to requests, suggestions or any help and reply very fast. You can also find a lot of usefull tips in forms of links as a printed QR codes on the place ! Kitchen is well equiped for a basic cooking. Place is well situated in an area which is full of live. Big plus are the entry doors which are solid and can very effectively shield any sound from the street which makes it very quiet place ! You can find grocery supermarket just around the corner which has everything what you need for your comfortable stay and there are restaurants, coffee shops and bakerys just around the corner.

Cozy chalet with ocean view, een accommodatie met een tuin, ligt in Seixal, op 4,6 km van Natuurzwembaden van Porto Moniz, 36 km van Cabo Girão, en 41 km van Traditionele huizen van Santana. I loved this cozy place! It was really nicely decorated and had everything we needed in a compact space which I found to be really cool - including a foldable crib for our little one!

Chalet Tropical ligt in Arco da Calheta, dicht bij naar Strand Caminho Faja do Mar en op 21 km van Cabo Girão, en beschikt over een patio met de bergen, een terras en een privéstrand. Me and my boyfriend spent a total of 6 days in the Tropical Chalet. We could have stayed there for at least another month. The place's absolutely lovely. Basically it's straight among banana trees and other beautiful tropical plants and flowers. There're very few other houses in the neighborhood and the closest main street's very quiet making the whole area very peaceful. The backyard has a great view over the ocean and the surrounding banana trees. Also, the hammock's a nice touch to the whole experience. The balcony on the first floor's anotheru lovely space and the house itself is functional though not particularly luxurious or equipped. The only thing tricky is maybe the fact that the street to get to the house's very steep and narrow (some taxis refuse to drive down there). The suggestion is to get a car or even better a motorbike. By foot it's nice to walk down to the beach or through the levadas that go along the coastline. Though mind that it's a very long and steep way to get to the nearest supermarket, bar or shop. This is another reason why having a car/motorbike is highly advisable. Overall, a very nice and recommended accommodation for ocean-loving couples/singles seeking a place to enjoy nature and tranquility.

Casa ideal para famílias com vista mar desafogada heeft uitzicht op de zee, en biedt accommodatie met een balkon en een koffiezetapparaat, op ongeveer 3,2 km van Marina do Funchal. Our family of 5 (two parents and three kids ages 13, 10, and 6) had an amazing stay here during our kids' February break. The house is exactly as described, and is lovely. Each of the 4 bedrooms has a beautiful view of the city and the ocean, the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, the beds were comfortable, and the outside patio was beautiful. We enjoyed wine outside in the evenings, and the kids ate breakfast outside in the morning. The best part of our stay was the host, Sidónio. He was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. He had great suggestions for things to do and see on Madeira, and our trip would not have been the same without his suggestions!

Pereira Place - Cottage is gelegen in São Vicente, op 16 km van Natuurzwembaden van Porto Moniz en 24 km van Cabo Girão, in een omgeving waar je kunt wandelen. For us it was perfect- calm, quiet , peaceful and very well equipped. Parking right in front of the house. Great host! A lot of useful info about Madeira in the house. Good location for exploring the island. Nice garden terrace with great views - both of ocean and the mountains. It's quite near the city and there is also a snack bar few hundred meters nearby for quick bite or a drink.

Victoria Tiny Stone House beschikt over uitzicht op de zee, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin en een terras, op ongeveer 19 km van Natuurzwembaden van Porto Moniz. Very friendly host and excellent place to stay. It has everything one could wish for, including a wine selection, a pool and a friendly cat.

Victoria Ocean View Room ligt op 40 km van Cabo Girão, en biedt accommodatie in Ponta do Pargo met toegang tot een tuin, een terras, en een 24-uursreceptie. Really awesome house to spend a few days in. Beautiful views from the balcony and patio over the ocean. The house is very well equipped and modernly renovate. Extra plus is definitely a the free wine bar and newly made little pool to cool down. Would definitely recommend this place.
