The owner is very nice and the place is close to the mountain which makes it perfect for the ones who want to ride Transfăgărășan and enjoy the area. Located in Arefu, Cabana Zimbru Transfagarasan offers accommodation with flat-screen TV, as well as a garden and a bar. Amazing place in the forest on the Transfagarasan highway (7c). You realize where you are when you see the 3 dogs that they have to make bears stay away from the hotel!!!! The room was very big, very good matress also. A very polite girl was on the hotel's cafe/bar on the main road

Going here just for the fact that I know that the owner will wait for me even late (as I said at the reservation) and the fact that is clean, large enough, with parking and very well placed to the Transfagarasan (high alpine road)
