Located on a 15-acre operational farm, Tanzanice Farm Lodge offers accommodation within 4 km of the town of Karatu. The Lodoare Gate into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is 12 km from the property. The place was very cosy, beautiful and relaxing garden, rooms new spacious and very clean. You can feel how much care goes in the farm and guesthouse! The staff was lovely and very warm, and the food delicious. we really enjoyed our stay. It was the best surprise after days camping in the parks! We also bought some beautiful souvenirs sold at the farm, produced by the women in the community.

This is a very, very special place to stay. Easy reach of ngorogoro, Manyara and Taringire. Just blown away by how lovely the staff were. This is a little slice of heaven.

The rooms were fantastic with amazing views and super peaceful. The sounds of the animals from the Crater at night were very cool to listen to. The food was really tasty, very big portions and the lunch boxes were epic. Special mention for the staff who were friendly and went above and beyond when it was a birthday...made a cake, sang and danced and just made it a wonderful night!

With mountain views, Africa Safari Karatu is located in Karatu and has a restaurant, a tour desk, bar, garden, year-round outdoor pool and terrace. The location is second to none with unbelievable views. The meals are nice and tasty, served in an open restaurant at the top. The pool is nice and clean and even if you arrive quite late you might just be granted permission to have a nice evening swim after opening hours if you ask nicely. :)

Rooms are basic with everything you need, and the hot shower was nice and welcome after a day in the dust of Ngorongoro. The set up was great for our family- one room with a king bed, and another with a double bed + single for the kids
