It's a cozy little town with short drive to Narooma to the major pubs and restaurants, with nearby IGA and bakery shop for quick pickup of things. Beach is really good with nice waves and rocks for fishing lovers, and cycling track nearby to the beach is awesome.

We picked this weekend for the annual Oyster Festival. Glad we stayed at Dalmeny which was away from the busyness of Narooma town. We used the free bus back on Friday night but drove in on Saturday, parking was ok. Don't forget to buy festival tickets if you go. Club Dalmeny was an unexpected find. The food was really good. Plus the walking/bike track around the little bays is amazing.

The house was a disappointment but the dealings with the rental agency was excellent! The area is delightful and had surprisingly good food options. We will come back in warmer weather, but will not stay in this house ever again!!!!!!

The main beach is a long, sandy, beautiful beach. There are three or four other beaches along the road toward Kianga. Great seaside walks. Close to Narooma, which also has great seaside walks, and wonderful fishing spots.

Dalmeny is a very quiet town.

Dalmeny is a very quiet town. It has everything you need, supermarket, excellent beach, coastline walking path, take-a-way (albeit you have to like really greasy food, but hamburgers are good), coffee shop, newsagent, petrol station attached to the supermarket. It is the perfect place for a quiet break from the busy life.
