Gives us a chance to experience life off the grid "Solar energy and bottled Gas" An inspiration on what can be achieved. The residence was extremely comfortable and Marg provided us with complimentary breakfast options including freshly laid chook eggs. Its a part of a farm. its in an out of the way location allowing you to experience the options that nature provides to the fullest.

Metcalfe is lovely.
Metcalfe is lovely. We visited the Cascades and nearby Turpins Falls before heading to the Malmsbury Bakery for lunch. The home cooked pies were yummy and Turpins Falls is a special place with steep access that is well worth the effort.
