Apartments are privately owned but managed by the resort.

Apartments are privately owned but managed by the resort. Lagoon pool is huge and you can access from the balcony. Opposite is a large shopping centre with fast food and supermarkets. Only restaurant in close proximity is in the resort if you like pizza. Buses run front the door to Nelson Bay. We fly but would probably come by car next time.

The location is close to attractions, it's walking distance to a shopping centre that has everything you need. Everywhere we went people where friendly. Third time staying here and would go back to this area again.

Salamander Bay is a great location to unwind and have a short break from the hustle and bustle of our busy lives. You can choose to go to the beach or drive a few kilometers for other outdoor activities. The sand dunes and camel ride activities are just a short distance drive. The Oaks Port Stephen Pacific Blue Resort is one of my most highly recommended accommodation, with great location and amenities.

Amazing property. Big enough for 10 ppl. Appliances all great. Absolute waterfront. No more than 20 steps away from water. Salamander hotel has a curtesy bus. We had dinner there, food was great, entertainment was good. Next time we will visit more local areas, we just didn’t want to leave the amazing property.

Pool, restaurant, accommodation, staff, cleanliness - excellent. Have stayed a number of times before and will definitely stay again. Great family holiday in warm weather . Children even swam in pool in pouring rain . Would have liked the Villa (508) to have had more utensils in the kitchen . Cutting board, mop, vacuum, sharper knives, baking trays .

We went to lot of activities, camel ride , shark and ray was a gem , we able to get in the water to pat and feed the sharks and sting ray, it was fun for whole family. Dolphin cruise dolphins just swim next to your boat . Sand boarding . We went to butterfly house, it was a huge disappointed. Over priced with poor condition. Not treating animals right , if you planning to visit , DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

Having a kitchen with a stovetop and the oven was great as well as a washing machine and dryer facilities inside. The pool is just outside the room meaning no need to walk far to get to it. The parking was free and it was only a small walk to your room and back. I do recommend an apartment room with a swim out as it is the nicest option if you plan on staying at the resort most of the time. Internet access was great to have too. The room was spacious and the en-suite bathroom was big with a spa bath which was a luxurious touch.

Exceptional place – Delightful people – Gorgeous stay We spent a great time in Salamander Bay Bed & Breakfast. Located in a beautiful and quiet property, the room itself is spacious, comfortable, very clean with very nice original decorations and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The hosts, Merilyn & Bruce, are easy style people, not intrusive at all and very attentive and helpful in advising places to visit and eat out. We really enjoyed this place that we very highly recommend.

Way over priced. We were luckily upgraded to a swim out room as we paid $824 for 3 nights and were given a horrible little hotel room, after asking for a better room, the lovely lady at reception upgraded us (probs saw how much we were charged). The hotel boasts of being COVID safe with cleanliness, though one of the most touched switches in the room would be the bedside lamp, completely covered in dust. I am not one to complain like this, as the resort itself is lovely, though really needs an upgrade.

Bedrooms and plunge pool and the whole apartment had a generous size. We were with other group of friends who were in 2 separate apartments and we still got to share dinner with them. The resort had one of the best locations which was also close to amenities, the beach area and some other outdoor activities that you can go to. My husband really enjoyed his lap swimming at it was a heated pool. The kids were just a bit disappointed as the main pool was closed for renovation.

Ample room to chill out, comfy furniture and walk out into the pool that goes all around the resort were awesome. Air con and TV's in each room and adequately sized kitchen were nice and easy parking. Lovely staff. Also around the corner from the local shops if you wan to go buy a small amount of groceries, books or clothes. Little washing machine and dryer were handy too.
