The location was within the city suburbs, however it is an African suburb. Was a fun night to experience living in the heart of Africa so you get your typical rooster crowing and baby crying, but the room was great! Clean, coffee was available, the bed slept like a dream and the kitchen facilities made for great conversation. Recommend for the adventurous heart!

My family and I recently stayed at Sandpiper Villas from March 31st to April 5th. Overall, our experience was a mix, but mainly negative and we feel we should share.
Our safe was robbed, and a significant amount was stolen from it; only staff had access to the room and an override key for the safe. We did report to Micaela and the management, who assured us that they would investigate the matter thoroughly. As this happened on the final day, and we were in a rush to get to the airport and catch our flight, we had no time to report it to the police.
We have been really disappointed by the lack of communication regarding the progress of the investigation. Before writing this review, we reached out several times to request an update on the situation. Unfortunately, we’ve been completely ignored and did not receive the reassurance and clarity we had hoped for.
We feel compelled to share our honest experience with other potential guests. Do not leave any valuables in your room or in the safe.

It is at the shore of the Chobe river going into the Chobe National Park. The area have lots to offer if you love nature. Excellent entry point for the Chobe Nationa Park. So much mor convenient than day trips from Livingstone or Victoria. Recommend also a visit to the crocodile farm Convenient small, new International airport for flights to/from Johannesburg Good supermarkets Good beer an wine store

Kasane is tourist attraction place. It is beautiful for people who love nature and are not phobic to small creatures and animals because such are an occasional site see. It also near Zambia and Zimbabwe and one can easily make a day trip to the 2 countries especially the Victoria falls

Has maintained natural environment but with modern facilities available. The people appeared friendly and helpful. Getting mobile phone sim card in shops like Shoprite wasn't possible. A change could be brought in on this area. Taxis are available easily. We had a snack from Shoprite, but there is Nandos at the same complex just about 2 km from the hotel we stayed in. An ATM facility allows withdrawal of Pula if you have VISA or other international cards.JOHN

The room had not only two bedrooms but also two kitchens, each kitchen had electrical grills, fridge and microwave. There was a supermarket next to the hotel, so we could buy food there. A variety of cutlery, dishes, glassware and tools were available. Even they offered cheese grinders. Breakfast was also nice. Menu changed everyday. Dinner at reasonable price was also delicious. It is very well situated, close to the airport, town, shops, banks, etc. It has a lovely outlook over the Chobe River and is quiet and peaceful. It had a lovely pool so one could cool off in the middle of the day. They offered a great half day safari into Chobe, a boat trip in the afternoon on the Chobe river and a day visit to Victoria Fall, all of which we participated in, and enjoyed thoroughly.

The activities desk was extremely helpful and organized a private birding boat trip for us with a birding guide as well as a full day drive to Chobe National Park with lunch.
