I had a wonderful stay - booked for 4 nights, but stayed for 8. The villas have simple, comfortable rooms, that are good value for the price. Breakfast is delicious, with specially sourced granola or eggs, and fresh local fruits. The grounds are beautiful, with peaceful path down to river and small waterfall. I was lucky to see a pair of toucans in the adjacent woods. The hosts and staff are friendly and helpful , I felt welcome and very much at home:)

We came from Monte Verde but we didn't want to spend our last night in a city so this was a perfect stop since SJO airport was only 40 mins away. It was quiet and lovely. Breakfast was good as well. The staff was also very helpful and accommodating.

Our plan kept on changing, so did our arrival time and the host was really flexible. He gave me great advice when I needed to go grab my friend at the airport (40 min ride with traffic so completely feasible!)
The house is very clean, big and comfortable.
