We loved the location we stayed in - it was perfect for the two of us. Besides buying fruit from the road vendors, and having local street food whenever spotted in La Garza, we ate at Rosi's Soda Tica in Nosara, and Soda la Peria in Samara. Getting around Garza was pleasant as everything is walking distance. If you want tranquility, low maintenance and somewhat self-sustainability, Playa Garaza may be the place for you.AAnonymous - 10Scored 10

Garza is a very quiet beach that serves as the launching point for most fishing trips in the area. It was fascinating to watch the small tenders moving people back and forth to the fishing boats and catamarans. There are two stores off the highway and several restaurants ranging from a high end, overpriced place to several soda ticas serving typical Costa Rican food of rice, black beans, salad and protein (fish, chicken or beef).HolleyUnited States
