Very good infrastructure and the bike lodges are really cool! it actually surpassed my expectations as it had even electricity. The bathrooms were always well kept and it had all camping amenities. The shop had reasonable prices and staff was very nice. As for the location, the historical site was walking distance (Limes) with very nice hiking and biking trails.

Gasthof is located close to A9 motorway, 1 to 1,5 hour from Munich. I was there to visit IFAT exhibition. I arrived 1,5 hours after check-in time. The owner waited for me with the keys. Any problems. Typical tasty German breakfast, fresch products and milk was so good that I was drinking almost one litre every morning. I suspect that it was from local farmer. I stopped for two nights. 188 euro compering to 1000 euro in Munich during Messe, nothing to discuss. Even if the owners don't speak English, always Google translator can help😃. The room was big, clean and comfortable. Next time if I travel nearby for sure I will stop here. Thanks to the owners for great hospitality. 👍

Family-friendly hotel in nature next to the river.
Family-friendly hotel in nature next to the river. Very kind and nice owner. He showed us a lot of tips and tourist activities around the hotel. We followed his guidance and had a lot of fun during our stay. Totally worth it.
The hotel was very charming, in a quiet village ideal for exploring the nearby forests and fields. The food was also great and the room was neat, clean, and spacious. But what won me over the most, was the extremely hospitable and well-mannered family that runs the place. They were very kind and extremely helpful, providing me (I was the only guest at the time) with the hospitality and care usually reserved for friends and family.
There was a huge selection of fresh meats, cheeses, breads, eggs, cereal etc. Truly wonderful. The restaurant in the hotel makes some wonderful burgers. Very cosy and inviting. It is a family run hotel which shows in the attention to detail. All in all a wonderful stay, certainly recommended!
The hotel is situated directly near to the passing street- my chamber in the old part of the hotel was concerned- with the DAILY, early starting trafic on it. While he the entrance side is directed more towards the town Center.
We choose the hotel for the night over stop from
Amsterdam to North Italy after having read the reviews. The hotel is about 10 km from the highway in a quiet village. The check in was ok and so was the room.
Renovated hotel with very good beds, very clean and quiet. We were there for one night only, on our way back home. The breakfast was perfect, lots of options (good coffee, fruits, nuts, good bread, etc.).
Very friendly staff! The room was clean and had everything one needs. The hotel is sutiuated directly on the main sqaure, with a beautiful view at the castle on the hill.
