A pleasant town and the Waldsee hotel is in the quietest...
A pleasant town and the Waldsee hotel is in the quietest part by the lake, surrounded by a very well planned and signed nature reserve, woods and lots of hiking and biking trails. It is a good base for visiting the Allgau countryside (lots of info on regional trails to follow) and, in our case, looking around some of the many baroque churches.

Hotel uses card key and elevator is brand new like you see in city buildings. Room was not the biggest but still quite spacious enough. Hotel has its dedicated parking spaces right next to the building. We had dinner at the hotel restaurant and the food was delicious and service was kind and warm. The breakfast was well taken care of and they made fresh coffee or thee and eggs. The hotel really has a nice look and feel to it. People are comming for the restaurant, biergarten or staying in the hotel. There is so much to do nearby, and a little further you have austria, bodensee and the alps.
