We all realised that the receptionist was not to be blame but the hotel should have another member of admin staff to deal with lengthy telephone queries regarding potential events if the hotel is offering this service.

Pleasant atmosphere at breakfasts. Nice powerful shower, clean rooms. Loved staff in a restaurant. I also did not explore the surroundings so I might not have the full picture. Plenty of parking. We didn't use the restaurant as out all day and evening. We stopped off in Betera, little town near the hotel on our way home and had a drink and bite to eat with the locals which was very pleasant.
