Overnight stay travelling from France to Southern Spain. Hotel was a real find, food great service excellent and location was super for our route. Staff helpful and welcoming. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Scenery around the area is stunning although the hotel itself is located in a more industrial area. Secure parking.

Take the time to explore and you wont be disapointed. Local Country Park has some excellent trails and @7km away is Castillo Granara which is a lovely walk up to the top with great views. Nice river along the valley too.

Its a very quiet town, and cold in March 'cause its in the mountains but .... We needed help with a broken car and an extra night in town. Everyone soo.... helpful A very friendly town if you have a little Spanish.

Irurtzun is a small city with not much to offer in terms of cultural or culinary attractions. However, we passed by when the festivities for carnaval were on. Several groups and a short parade took place on the main square, which was fun.

Air-Con worked well in the rooms, and the window opened fully too to get some fresh air in at night. Reception & bar & restaurant staff were excellent. breakfast and the evening meals were good value. I stayed as a cyclist, and found the secure cycle storage service to be excellent, especially all the tools etc available for my use, including electric charging points.ChrisFrance

We have 2 dogs and it was easy to walk them - and very well priced fuel, an automatic station right by the entrance to the motorway. Always use this hotel and will continue to do so.
