The hotel is in a small village with a beautiful church at its centre just a few miles outside Salamanca. There are only a few rooms and the place is run by Martin and his partner who also man the kitchen to make your dinner. Martin is a lovely man who now’s how to welcome and look after people as well as cook for them. We had a wonderful meal of a light soup and roasted beef rib and pork with excellent olive oil and wine from the village. Our dogs were welcome and Martin was delighted to see them.

a simple comfortable hotel. We had the most amazing view over Salamanca- magical at night. The staff were very friendly and wanted to make sure we saw everything! the breakfast was fairly basic, but plentiful and good. the hotel was well situated for the sights.
