Loved everything about this resort the staff food accommodation I couldn’t fault anything. I liked that it wasn’t too big so with young children it was nice to have the pool not full of people. From the moment we were collected from the boat, we knew we had made the best decision to stay at Wayalailai. All the staff were super friendly and always ready to go the extra mile - whether playing volleyball, crafting island jewellery and hats, or teaching us about their culture. By far the most welcoming community we visited in Fiji and would 100% recommend to everybody. We loved the food which was such great value and always fresh. The beach was beautiful and cleaned daily by the staff. The reef snorkelling trip was one of the highlights of our entire trip!

It was great to be on the beach front, the bungalows are a few feet away from the sea. Nice reef to snorkel in and the beach goes on for miles so nice to walk along. Bungalows were spacious and modern.

The homestay was lovely. We felt right at home once we got there. Every meal we were treated to amazing food! Initially I was hesitant as we weren’t on a white sandy beach. However, this meant we were able to go looking for qeqe and kaikoso during low tide which we got to eat for lunch and dinner. We were a 5 min boat ride away from blue lagoon so we could spend a few hours there then come back to relax. During our homestay we were able to become friends with other travellers and the family themselves which truly made the experience for me.
