Good location on a beautiful beach! Paradise really, if you don’t mind the bare bones minimum and not having the best access to good food.
Ideally located for diving, Barefoot Kuata Island Resort Island offers a bar, restaurant, swimming pool and games room.

This gorgeous little resort is located on the most beautiful, pristine lagoon. We were snorkeling and swanning around in the crystal clear water for hours every day, with hardly any other guests around. It was magical. I have high expectations of beaches, this one was perfect!
The Beachfront Bures (Sunset side) are in close walking distance to the main facilities. They are exceptionally clean and comfortable. We had the best sleeps/afternoon naps in perfect beds. We were Mum and 2 adult daughters so had an extra bed made up. There was plenty of room for 3 females and luggage.
The staff were fantastic, particularly the restaurant team and musicians! On our last night we were also treated to an amazing fire show. The performers all worked at the resort and they were so invested in putting on a mind-blowing show. They were incredible.
The food was local and fresh. The menu isn’t extensive but over four nights we were super content with our tasty meals (good portion sizes too). I ate delicious fish every day which is my kind of holiday. Getting serenaded with live music every night was also very special.
The enthusiasm, humour and commitment of the team to give us an extraordinary holiday was so deeply appreciated. We loved them.
We were initially going to select another resort, I’m elated we chose Matamanoa Island Resort. We will be back!
To all the team - vinaka vakalevu!

Next to the beach where you can do snorkelling due to the coral close to it. Nice relax area outside with hammocks and roof. Excellent staff, really friendly.
Staff were great. Most of them help us creating amazing memories and to have a proper Fiji time. Location is AMAZING right in front of the reef it is perfect for water activities.
Friendly guests, good relaxed vibes. Staff tried everything to make sure we had a good time. Few little flaws but WHO CARES?! It was a great time.

You will get wet feet getting off the tender to the island so wear flip flops or sandals. The welcome made us smile and we kept on smiling the whole 4 days. We negotiated a good rate for a fishing trip, they cooked our catch for lunch with fries and salad for only $10 each £3! We visited the village on the neighbouring island and went snorkelling where the filmed castaway. The hotel will take you up to the helipad in the golf buggy for sunset cocktails.

The staff were awesome so friendly and obliging - We got gastro all 4 of us on 2nd night we think from ice and water which being 5 star should be ok - we drank water on bar beside pool, and sick that night all bottled prior to that, others on the island were also sick when we were their people returning advised never to drink water or ice this needs transparency pricey to spend 2 days confined to a toilet - wouldn’t recommend touching ice and or water from island take your own bottled water or pay their ridiculous prices to buy it from the bar. Other family stayed prior to us and were sick as well - not a coincidence!

We LOVED our time at Tokoriki Island Resort, it was perfect - the team of people who looked after us so very well made this beautiful property really special for us, from Liti and Vincent who helped us arrive and get settled, to the restaurant team led by Kris, Dee, Ala, and Tusi, to the bar team, Mita, Joe and Joshua…and the incredible kitchen team led by the amazing Chef Ashim. I’m sure we’ve missed people, but they were just fabulous and we loved our time a hundred fold because of them.
The pool and lounge area is just stunning, everything has been carefully considered. The beach and surrounds are picture perfect.
We are already planning our return.

We had a fantastic time.
We had a fantastic time. Morning bush walks were great and certainly good exercise. The children enjoyed the pool activities and were there everyday waiting for them to start. Food wasn't too bad either.

Tokoriki island resort is the most amazing place, the people are so welcoming you feel like your at home. The rooms and the view is what you pay for. Really romantic. This will be a once a year trip for us! I can’t even say in words or fault this place. Thanks so much for the stay. See you next year
The Sheraton Tokoriki was beautiful. The staff on the island were very accomodating and helpful for me and my partner. Especially Bennie, Joe & Joe who worked on the island were so helpful for my partner and I needs and made our stay so good!
I would definitely recommend this place as it was like heaven on earth. We got the all inclusive deal and I think that was well worth it, food and drinks were great and there was no complaints from us.
We couldn't fault the hospitality of the staff at Sheraton Tokoriki. From the first welcome to the final goodbye, the staff truly went above and beyond in all aspects. I have special dietary requirements and the two head chefs were so accommodating. Everyone is so friendly and personable, they felt like family. The rooms, facilities and activities are amazing. We would recommend this resort for both families and couples alike!
Tokoriki Island is beautiful and the beach is stunning with white sand and turquoise waters. The reef is full of beautiful fish and coral. The scenery is also stunning as you can see many other islands in the vicinity. Getting there takes some planning, but it’s worth the extra cost/time. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. There was a typhoon while I was there, but hotel staff handled everything very well.
The food was fabulous...We do think explanation of options for Full meal Plan off the menu could be discussed.
(When I ordered poached eggs and toast that was all I received. No butter, relish or parsley).Patrice and Kris and Likaa were all exceptional. Thank you. Your boutique is fabulous. Love the bure and the terrace/lawn/hammock
The hotel is located on a beautiful little island. The surroundings itself are stunning, but we paid a lot of money to stay and the whole experience fell very short of our expectations. We asked to speak to a manager 3 times and not once did they come and speak to us. A very disappointing experience overall.
It's a wonderful place, very beautiful.
My 5yo enjoyed their kids club a lot - they fed the fish at the sea, then played games at the pool and then went to the playground. Leyla is amazing with kids.
There are some activities for adults too - we made a Fijian Kokoda with the chef - it was delicious!

The Sheraton on Tokoriki is fantastic. Great location directly at the water front. Snorkling, kayaking, sailing, stand-up-paddling at your doorstep - plus a great pool where you could swim laps in the over 35m stretch. Great food and exceptional staff.
The staff were amazing, always helpful and always happy. They were also amazing with the kids. This is our second trip to Fiji and have sampled many islands and mainland resorts and the meals on Tokoriki were the best we’ve had in Fiji.
Tokoriki is a beautiful island and we loved our stay. The resort is small and quiet and the water is divine. We loved the day spa too. Snorkeling at Mana Reef was beautiful.
