Château Le Cagnard, hotel in Cagnes-sur-Mer

Set in a beautiful 13th-century building, Château Le Cagnard is located on the hilltops of the medieval village of Cagnes-sur-Mer. Guests can enjoy the sea views, the furnished terrace and the garden....

We had stayed here many years ago and were looking forward to returning. We were not disappointed. We were very kindly upgraded to a beautiful spacious bedroom with a small balcony. Dinner in the restaurant on the open terrace was very good. The Sisteron Lamb was delicious and also the perfumed carpaccio dessert. The reception staff were so kind and helpful with recommendations. We can’t thank enough the lovely young lady who personally drove us down to meet our taxi to the airport which was unable to reach us in time due to extreme weather which had caused a very bad traffic jam. Thank you again! If you are looking for a tranquil stay away from the crowds we would definitely recommend Chateau Le Cagnard. There are also a couple of nice friendly restaurants in the village square with a good menu choice.

Hôtel Restaurant Brasilia, hotel in Cagnes-sur-Mer

Hôtel Restaurant Brasilia is located on the French Riviera, right between Nice and Cannes. It is just steps away from the beaches, city centre and the hippodrome.

Very well maintained and clean rooms with lovely terraces and comfortable beds, tea/coffee making facilities would be welcome. Location is ok for the beach as well as the old town up the hill, good considering you aren’t paying for beachfront views. Helpful staff, good value for money and overall a nice stay.

Hôtel La Villa des Oliviers, hotel in Cagnes-sur-Mer

Hôtel La Villa des Oliviers is located on the seaside in the heart of the Côte d’Azur with on-site private parking with limited places free of charge for our guests and free WiFi.

The hotel is in a perfect location, away from the main busy road but still with a gorgeous sea view at the end of a small quiet road. The rooms are small and basic but they're ok. The location of this hotel is what makes it very attractive. The price is low compared to other places on the Cote d'Azur, but I still feel it's a bit expensive for what it offers.

Vacancéole - Résidence Le Crystal, hotel in Cagnes-sur-Mer

Vacancéole - Résidence Le Crystal is located a few steps from central Cagnes-sur-Mer, about 1 kilometre from the beach. It features an outdoor swimming pool and offers studios and apartments.

It was a two-bedroom apartment (one with two single beds and the other with a double bed) with a sofa near the kitchen. Overall, the apartment was clean and there were plenty of towels. We were a group of 5 and it was enough for us. - A parking area exists for cars (under the ground).

Cagnes-sur- Mer is a thriving hub about 4 miles from Nice with train and bus connections to all the surrounding resorts and hill towns in the area. There are plenty of shops for food, a market and lots of restaurants. a free shuttle bus is available to take you to the hill village of Haut Cagnes, well worth a visit and there is also a free bus to the beach although lots of the local buses serve the beach too as well as it having its own station Cros de Cagnes. A ten minute walk brings you to the station.

It is a town which combines the promenade ( tourist area ) and a working town with lots of shops, market and bus and train stations. The town provided easy access to Vence and Nice. Those interested in Art and History will be delighted with Renoir’s house and the Grimaldi Palace in Cagnes-sur-Mer. The Matisse Chapel ( Vence ) and lots of musee in Nice. All within 30 minutes by bus or train.

We loved this apartment and our stay in Cagnes-sur-Mer.

We loved this apartment and our stay in Cagnes-sur-Mer. Fabienne is so kind and helpful. A minus is the noise from traffic and the airplanes, when the windows are open. The apartment is quiet when they are closed. Walking in C-s-M is easy and the beaches are very easy to reach, though the markets are pretty far away and you have to take a bus there. The buses are always awful crowded.

This village, although fairly developed, was quiet and less expensive to eat and drink out than Nice, Cannes and other locations nearby. However, prices are high generally on the French Riviera. There is a market once a week that was very nice, with a fair amount of local produce, and the atmosphere was great. We found all the bars and restaurants well apointed, and provided a good choice. There are many buses passing through the village, but again information on how to use the various routes was hard to find. Travel cards can be bought locally for €10 which give 10 single rides on the buses or trams - which is a must! One ride for any distance.

I recently stayed at this hotel and was thoroughly impressed. Its prime location by the sea and convenient for those traveling by car made it an ideal choice. What truly stood out was their exceptional service and attention to detail. Not only did they accommodate my needs during my stay, but they also went above and beyond by promptly sending me the belongings I had forgotten in my room. I highly recommend this hotel for its excellent service and commitment to customer satisfaction.

Excellent location, 10 min from bus and train on foot, 2 min walk to the beach, many restaurants nearby. A boutique hotel, with very personal touch to all the details, amazing decor, everywhere, but the right amount, without being tacky. Highly appreciate that! The bed is big and comfortable, the room is super clean, there was a nice balcony with a great view! The owner is super nice, very friendly and talkative. Great value as well!

Our usage of the appartment was not the most common as we only slept one night and it was just fair to do that. The beds were fine and the shower too, despite some signs of old age. The location is also good, close to city center and restaurants and not so far away from the beach too. It was possible to check-in late with a code and a locker with the key.

+: Nice place/area, very kind staff, helpful and speaks English. The hotel is situated on a busy road which is not disturbing due to good sealings. o: The room is ok and mostly clean, for some countries like Germany, Norway, and Denmark this room would not pass the checks. (Still way-way better than anything I experienced in the UK :) )

Everything we imagined and then some. Quaint square atop a hill in Cagnes sur mer which is dripping in ancient history. We spent our 4 days doing day trips east and west in the French Riviera and ended every day back in the square for a wonderful meal either at the hotel or one of the other 3 eateries in the square!!

The hotel is nicely located, only a few meters away from the beach. It has a beatiful design, the room is decorated as if it were a photo studio. We also enjoyed a contactless check in, this is practical especially if you arrive late.

It was very cheap for a one night stay in a basic hotel. The room was clean and simple. It was also quiet in the room, even though it was on one of the main busy streets. Good value for the money!
