I loved the interiors of Grand hotel de la Reine. It has a grandeur mixed with the history that adds to the overall charm of the place. The hotel is easily accessible from Nancy train station - about 15 minutes or less by foot.
The classic double room was comfy. The breakfast salon overlooks Place Stanislas - a splendid morning view! The exquisite breakfast spread featured local delicacies as well. That was indeed a treat!
I found the hotel to be worth the price paid and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable accommodation experience in the city.

The mattress was new and it was very comfortable. Much appreciated!
The hotel was in a great location and very easy to get to from the station.
The bathroom was good for the size.
Although the window was small it did open wide which is great for fresh air and sleeping at night.
There was ice cold bottled water available for pick up everyday for guests.
The outside area is ideal if you want to sit outside.
One of the girls at the evening reception was very welcoming and helpful. This is how all the staff in the hotel should be.

What a hidden gem. Nancy is a definite must see especially during the Christmas season. Lots of lights everywhere, things to do, neat little shops, and cool places to eat. So glad we stopped over for a couple of nights.

Loved the old town - lots of lovely old buildings and places to explore on foot - and by bus if you wish to travel further afield. The Staff in the Tourist Information Centre were very helpful (located in Place Stanislas) - we bought a City Pass which for us was good value for money. The Covered Food Market (fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, fish and cheese etc) was great and lots of small restaurants and eateries there open for lunch.
We particularly like the Art Nouveau buildings - there is a marked tour to help visitors locate them.
A great place to visit and stay and hope to return!

A highly interesting city with beautiful baroque architecture. Lots to do and see, art exhibitions and museums. Friendly people, very helpful. I wish we could have stayed longer, but the access to our accommodation was so bad, we left early. We have never ever done this before.

We were planning to do a drive through Nancy on our way to Burgundy simply because my name is Nancy.
However, Nancy was a lovely surprise with one of the most beautiful main squares in Europe. There is a lot of green space around where you can rest while touring around. The tourist office offers 2 different audio tours that are very interesting & helpful to get a feel for the settlement and history of Nancy.
Apartments are spacious; staff were super friendly all the time; AC worked well which was great because it was pretty hot when I was there in July; internet was consistently fast which I needed for work (and much better than my previous hotel in France which was terrible); breakfast was delicious - variety of fresh breads and pastries, jam, meat/cheese, yogurt, juice, coffee, tea; they also had a dispenser of cold water with lemons near the office during the day, which was a nice touch and often slices of cold fruit like watermelon
The apartment is in a wonderful, quiet location overlooking the large park just off Stanislaus Sq. The apartment is a little spartan but adequately equipped. It was the perfect location for access to all that Nancy has to offer in the Old City surrounding the square--lots of shops, restaurants and museums. We appreciated the instructions and appliance manuals that the hosts provided in several languages. There is no washer/dryer, but we found a good laundromat not far away.
This place is so cosy and nice. I would always book it whenever I pass by Nancy. Wonderful location. The only thing one needs to be careful about is that it is on the third and last floor of the building with no elevator so heavy travellers will need to carry their bags on stairs. Apart from that everything is awesome and the team providing instructions to entry had been supportive all the way through the stay
We loved the location and atmosphere of the hotel. Nothing special from outside, but beautiful inside. We appreciated people who spoke English. Its sometimes a bit hard to find someone english speaking in France, but all staff were briliant, really sweet and helpfull. We enjoyed breakfest as well.
The quality of the room was fine for what we paid.
The location was pretty nice, you are around 10-15 minutes away from the city of Nancy, with a simple route in the car.
There are a few restaurants, fast food places and a fuel station all in the vicinity of the hotel.
I stayed there for one night, en route from our second home in France to our house in Holland, we usely stop half-way, mostly Metz, sometimes Nancy, a friend advised this hotel, it is the fourth place we stayed in Nancy, by far the best
Large room with disabled toilet, the whole place is finished in polished concrete which was not to my wife's taste but I liked.
The restaurant next door owned by the hotel was very good, Nice breakfast with good scrambld egg.
I like the room, the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was a little bit expensive but, they offered high quality products so it was worth it. The hotel looks charming and it is very near the center of the city
It's much better than the Novotel hotel next door. The price is good, the room is clean, the staff is excellent, the baby playroom is great. The Novotel next door is the worst hotel in France.
The hotel is very nice, located in the heart of Nancy, close to the railway station. The staff was friendly. There is a spa that looked great, but I ended up not having time to go there...
The staff were super helpful and friendly. The view out of our room was great and location perfect for exploring Nancy. It was a great value and comfortable. A terrific place.
Fabulous boutique hotel in the heart of Nancy; beautifully furnished with wonderful art and crafts. Lovely owner and staff who are rightly proud. Ask to so see the cellars…
