We loved the castle itself, filled with fabulous antiques and eccentric objets d’art. But it was the conversations with the delightful owner Fabrice that made our stay truly exceptional.

Good location, breakfast was not spectacular but definitely OK and very reasonable price. We stayed early Jan and rural towns like Confolens are not very lively at this period: that's why we like it.
