The room was gorgeous with French doors that opened up to the view. The birdsong was amazing!
The hotel is round the corner from the castle, which is well worth a visit.
The breakfast was superb with fresh and homemade produce and delicious coffee.
We had a long chat with the owners whilst there and they are lovely, lovely people.

This is a wonderful hotel we stopped at on our bike tour to Bordeaux. Very friendly and welcoming staff after a long ride . The rooms are great and the hotel has a locked garage to store and charge our bikes.
The best part is the fabulous restaurant attached to the hotel which was very busy and seemed also very popular with the locals.
We had nice wines , great french traditional dishes and brilliant service.
Cannot get better.
