Great hotel. Room was extremely comfortable and immaculate, had a great nights sleep. We did not hear any outside noise which is remarkable considering the hotel is right next to Bristol Airport.

Room was immaculate and we had complimentary drinks as well. The breakfast was cooked fresh to order and had plenty to chose from. If we were in the area again would definitely stay there again.

The rural setting close to the Cheddar Gorge. The accommodation adjacent to the 17th Century in a converted farm building was ideal. The aspect facing south west gives a sunny position for most of the afternoon and evening. nice walking down School Lane onto land managed by the Forestry Commission. good weather over the weekend accompanied by nice meals and a good wine list

Located in Bristol, Fox & Goose, Barrow Gurney by Marston's Inns has a garden and is located just a 10-minute drive from Bristol Airport.

On Arrival we were very happy to see all the staff that were very welcoming and warm! It was a great start to our holiday - We arrived at around 20:00pm and checked in with ease! We were guided to our to our room and we didn't realize it would be our own private area for the 4 of us, It was amazing, we were in rooms 20 and 21 I believe, out friends were upstairs and me and my partner were down stairs. Our room was more for people with disabilities which I didn't mind as the bathroom and shower was out of this world! The upstairs bedroom was more luxurious and modern but this not a negative ad both rooms served the same purpose and we were all happy! We only stayed for 1 night and we had dinner at a service station so we didn't need any dinner, although it look out of this world and very reasonable, we also had an early start (3:00AM) so we couldn't have any breakfast either So I can't really rate the food but it looks very nice from what I could see. Me and my partner went for a few drinks in the pub area and it was lovely, such a cosey and clean environment. Drink prices weren't too bad I had few San Miguel's and my partner had prosecco and that cam to about 13-14 pounds. The bed was lovely, one of the best night sleeps in ages (even though it was a short one!) But I couldn't fault it. My favorite part had to be the shower. I didn't want to leave! It was beyond perfect. It got us ready for out flight which was the main thing! Check out was easy, All we needed to do was post the key through the door and it was all done! Thank you Fox and Goose, I will be staying again for sure!

Wouldn’t recommend to anyone with difficulty walking as it really is a long drag from the main road, plus you have to park across the road and the road is extremely busy with high speed traffic. It is in a lovely setting just needs some TLC Henry the owner was very pleasant

Lovely property but in the wrong hands.

Lovely property but in the wrong hands. Mouldy fruit, old Lidl produce in the fridge, and everything inside done on the cheap. No oven which to me says not self catered as advertised. Wifi only in half the apartment - needs a signal booster installed. Shoddy kitchen utensils and dirty/dusty glasses and plates. Yuck. I'd rather stay home where I keep my place clean and buy nice things for my fridge.
