Free WiFi which pleased my daughter.
The lodge is really well equipped everything you need for your stay.
Harry the dog loved the outdoor space, secure and good for him to nosey at passes by.

The Longlands is not in the town of Carnforth, it is located...
The Longlands is not in the town of Carnforth, it is located at Tewitfield Marina nearby. Tewitfield is in the countryside, close to the Lancaster canal with some great walks. I can imagine that there is a lot going on in the school holidays and weekends, alongside the marina with a good atmosphere. It is in close proximity of the M6 and A6 making it accessible to the South Lakes and Morecambe bay. We drove through Carnforth it is a busy town on the A6

Lovely comfortable and clean rooms, with an excellent breakfast included in the price. The restaurant meals were good quality, but for me the thing that distinguishes the place from others was the wonderful staff they have. Small town but had a lovely book store ( new and second hand...
Small town but had a lovely book store ( new and second hand) and lots of choice of catergories.I stayed at Royal Station Hotel which provided basic and clean accommodation for the night. I personally wanted to go to Carnforth to visit the Heritage centre and watch the film Brief Encounter as it was filmed at the Carnforth railway station. The Refreshment room had good choices for lunch. You can also take a train through the edge of The Yorkshire Dales from there.

a really easy place to travel around & if you want explore different places there is a massive selection within easy reach we liked the whole place in general & the venue of pine lake resort is a top draw place of beauty

Lovely modern cottage.
Lovely modern cottage. It’s kitchen had everything needed to cook a full meal. Bed very comfortable. Shower hot. Quiet location even though it’s near to a motorway. Lovely walk along the canal and a pub on the doorstep. What’s not to like.

Views incredible. Right on the marina edge. Spent Saturday walking at nearby levens Hall. Saturday night booked a table at the longlands hotel. Food and service excellent and to top it off fireworks. Excellent facilities at Tewitfield and we are booking a few more trips for this year and next. My new go to place for a cheeky weekend away catching up with the ladies.

We were made most welcome. Nic as a host was absolutely brilliant. Rooms were luxury and tastefully decorated. Great place for a wee romantic break. Just of the beaten track. Highly recommend and will be back if ever in the area again. The other thing I liked was the option of getting a takeaway and being able to have it in the hotel as their kitchen wasn't open. The location was perfect for accessing Lancaster and the lower Lake District. The main bedroom was spacious with an r suite toilet and sink which was lovely. The rooms are really nice and modern, we absolutely loved the bathroom/shower too! The accommodation certainly exceeded our expectations and it made our romantic getaway to the Lake District even better.
