The location & views.There was a few nice pubs but couldn't get in to eat as was fully booked being a Sat night. The only one we didn't try to book was the Plough as the reviews weren't as good. The Wheatsheaf was our number one choice as we had been before, but was full inside & out.We rang around 6 pubs, so advise pre booking before your stay! We had a 15min drive to the Berkeley Arms Melton Mowbray which was a lovely meal & service. Very accommodating, friendly staff & great food.

This is a good place to use as a base to explore so many places in the area. Greetham Valley Golf Club is ideally placed for taking a relaxing break or exploring the many interesting local towns and villages.

The receptionist upon arrival was very lovely and it was a nice start to the stay. Location wise it’s off the beaten track but great for golfers or those attending a function there. The food at the function was superb and the main bar had friendly staff and a nice atmosphere with a log burner and home cooked meals on offer.LucyUnited Kingdom
