This is a great hotel and we would happily stay there again. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The quiet, country location plus the friendly staff made it a really memorable stay.

Excellent location, a few minutes walk from the high streets with lots of places to eat. The room was spotless and with a really comfy bed. Lots of attention to detail - like offering alternative plant-based milk in the tea and coffee facilities, and leaving sweets in the room. All the staff were amazing.

The bed was comfortable, and we liked that our dog had her own bed, bowl and a little pamper kit. That was a nice touch. The bar and restaurant were excellent!

Beautiful decor inside, splendid gardens, the ambiance relaxing, a very welcoming hotel, the staff were all lovely & willing to help wherever possible. A good size gym with all the basics you would need, nice swimming pool & hot tub, the outdoor spa provided a choice of seating in both sun or shade including swing chairs & sofas, the pool wasn’t too cold & also had jets. A good choice of buffet breakfast, the lunch & dinner was superb.

We stayed two nights at Thatchers on 19th and 20th May for our wedding anniversary and to visit Brooklands Museum on the Monday (well worth it and the Concorde Experience is a must). The receptionist at Thatchers - Lilly - was most helpful and booked us in, explaining meal and breakfast times etc. We had a double room on the first floor. The room was clean, spacious and well equipped with a comfortable bed, tea making facilities and a large flat screen television. The shower had good pressure and was easy to operate. We booked an evening meal in the restaurant which is just off the main lounge and overlooks the grounds. Everywhere is tastefully decorated and has a welcoming feel - complimented by obliging and cheerful staff. Food was well cooked and most enjoyable (we both had chicken supreme) - the price was reasonable as was the delicious dessert. We then had a walk in the lovely grounds before retiring. Breakfast on each morning was equally delicious, well cooked and filling. We both felt very much "at home" at Thatchers - we recommend it without hesitation and will be returning soon. NB- We also joined the groups club (Surya Hotels) and we look forward to visiting their other locations and enjoying the benefits membership carries with it. A special mention also to Jeff - a credit to the Company.

Wonderful village, deep in the Surrey countryside, popular with mountain bikers, walkers and ordinary people like me! Surrounded by the Surrey Hills, there are some terrific walks and the climb to the top of Pitch Hill is well worth it. There’s a great little shop, but most important of all, a stupendous pub, the Hurtmore Inn, whose restaurant has the biggest plates of food I have ever seen, and whose waiters (Italian) are totally adorable. The Hurtmore Hotel is just behind the pub and is also excellent.
Lovely hotel in a beautiful peaceful location. Our room was clean and well maintained. The hosts and staff here are truly exceptional and very accommodating. The breakfast was plentiful as well as tasty, the pub below equally as good with their food and drink. Really made our 3 night stay for our anniversary very memorable and we will def be back in future.
Comfortable modern clean, lovely to have iron and ironing board - needs adding to the spec. A toaster would have been a bonus. Staff were amazingly friendly and helpful. Food good and Peaslake itself such a delightful place, it really ticked the box for us as we were attending a wedding a few miles away.
Every member of staff was helpful. Hotel clean and cosy. Good facilities. Excellent breakfast and choice. We would return! Comfy lounge areas with books, games tv for adults and kids. Great garden, private with sitting areas. Numerous great walks on doorstep.
Excellent Pub / Hotel very comfortable and classy, great rooms and good food. Struggling for staff a little but that is down to the post covid situation. i would definitely recomment this place for short break.

The hotel and location were wonderful. The staff member who looked after us, Georgia could not have been more helpful or lovely and took great care of me and my daughter during our stay.
