The Crown Inn was close to a wedding we had been invited to and was an ideal place to stay overnight rather than driving home
It was spacious with a separate living area and a nice bathroom with shower. The breakfast was cooked fresh the next morning and very good

The breakfast was ok, would be nice to have some yogurt and fresh fruit, the roast dinner was very good. Our room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable but there was no milk for tea and no hot water but to be fair we didnt say anything but if we had I'm sure that it would have been rectified. The landlord was very obliging when I asked if we could have some warm water because our car parked over the road over night had been visited by several birds !! and as we were going on an MG rally that morning it needed to be cleaned.

Not a lot really, from start to finish.
This was my third year of visiting, but sadly, I was very disappointed in the lack of friendliness, the cleanliness and atmosphere.
Location is good for travelling around.
Several choices on the menus, but poor quality in some of the food prep.
Room quality was average, lack of cleaning or no cleaning, bin was not emptied during my stay.
Featuring a garden and views of inner courtyard, The Harnser is a bed and breakfast situated in a historic building in Stalham, 26 km from Blickling Hall.
Okay for an overnight stay. The evening meal in their Restaurant was excellent. In my room, the bed at the headboard was broken. Making the bed very wobbly. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The bed wasn't made while I was there.
The room was illuminated by the outside Pub signs being left on all night.
If you are a light sleeper, the road noise might be a problem for you. But the Pub is on a main road.
I was told that there were no overnight or live in staff on site.

Delightful Norfolk village ideally situated 5 minutes drive from the friend we had come to visit. The Crown Inn was a lovely ,traditional thatched pub, serving a good selection of Real Ale and tasty, home-cooked food.

Smallburgh itself is relatively small, and The Crown is on the main road to North Walsham. However, it is conveniently situated for trips to the coast/beaches and diverse attractions in North Norfolk.
