This is a lovely property, in a nice village setting, with easy links to Cambridge and surrounding attractions. The rooms are thoughtfully appointed, the check-in is easy, the service is extra-friendly and the breakfast is amazing. I have stayed here quite a few times in recent years and love the place.

The hotel is very handy for the station, so zero hassle on arrival by train. The down-side is that the station is not in the centre of the city. In addition to the hotels own basic restaurant, there are plenty of eateries adjacent. The breakfast is a comprehensive buffet including cooked food. Overall, it's a typical Ibis experience, no frills but fully functional and efficient, with a more comprehensive breakfast than some.

The owner met us on arrival, he was delightful, very chatty and helpful. The room was immaculately clean with one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. We told the owner in advance that we drank oat milk and we had sachets available on our tea tray.
