Outside space. Lovely friendly local neighbours. Comfortable bed. Air con. Bus stop 1min walk. Kettle and coffee maker and fridge. Coffee shop next door but one. Would stay again. Dimitris was very helpful and answered all the questions.. Buses from here will take you anywhere practically on the island

Fantastic location.Staff were very efficient and helpful. All areas of hotel were clean and tidy. Breakfast buffet was excellent but we did not eat in hotel for dinner. We felt that even the evening buffet which was the cheapest option was too expensive. There were several good local tavernas. We would definitely stay again

Kontokali is a small town, very easy to walk around and not far from the beach (approx 15min) and Marina. It is located approx. 10min by taxi, or 15min by bus from Corfu town. The public bus to/from Corfu town is very convenient and cheap (€2.30 adult/one way). The local people are very friendly & helpful in the Marina, bars/restaurants, etc. The marina is lovely, nice outdoor furniture at all of the restaurants/bars and the whole area is very clean. Other local restaurants I would highly recommend the Roula Fish Taverna and Takis taverna for great staff, good food and good atmosphere/ "buzz" in the evening/ dinner time. However, watch out for the broken footpaths and pot holes on the road!!

A wonderful place to spend a holiday!
A wonderful place to spend a holiday! Large beautiful garden and swimming pool. Beautiful views onto the lagoon. Christian is a very friendly and helpful host. We stayed in the loft suite. Showing some signs of age in the furnishing and mini-kitchen but the views from the two balconies made up for it. Very good value for money. We shall return!

The location is very convenient as you have easy access to beaches, restaurants and Corfu Town via the public buses. There are also supermarkets and pharmacies available. The area is very safe, it's perfect for groups or individuals. The pavements and crossings here do take some getting used to as they are quite worn down, but this is only a minor detail. Overall, I would recommend staying here.

I don’t even know where to begin.
I don’t even know where to begin. This is NOT a 5 Star hotel. It is at best a 3 star hotel. Here are my points for cutting our stay short and leaving after 2 nights:
The rooms are small and uncomfortable. The bathrooms are not well ventilated so your room has a constant musky smell, and the amenities (shampoo etc) are such low quality.
The beach is dirty. I found rubbish, glass and even an empty CONDOM packet right next to where my 3 young (under 6) children were playing. This was the turning point for me and we left the next day.
The sun loungers are NOT sterilised. The cushions are not cleaned between users.
The food is mediocre at best. The breakfast was ok, but as a buffet style I think the staff had no concept of how to social distance or minimise cross handling of serving spoons etc. In fact, in such a pandemic situation, buffet breakfasts should not be allowed.
The walls are so thin you can hear everything that goes on beyond your bedroom.
As parents with 3 young children, we really tried to be open minded as the children enjoyed building sandcastles. However, when I spotted the empty condom packet, I simply could not allow my family to remain there any longer and we checked out.
It is in desperate need of extra cleaning staff and at least 2 stars knocked off its rating.
The only decent thing about this place is it’s location to the center (not far) and walking distance to the Gouvia marina which is handy as that’s where you’ll go to eat all your meals so you don’t have to do it at the hotel.

Not a special town, but it is good for eating in a cosy
restaurant with music. There is a possibility to walk in the port. It has quite lots of market. The beach is not the best in Korfu, but it is good for few days beach activity. The roads are quite narrow, so be care with cars. But it is tipical for all of the island. Recommandation for restaurants: Telesilla Hotel is great with musican nights. In the Cygnus cafe the pizza is giant and delicious. In the Olympia Mare Restaurant the seafood bowl is super.
The hotel is wonderful - set in a quiet olive grove, which gives it a cooler temperature than a beachside place. A very decent beach (with a great restaurant/beach bar) is still within walking distance from the hotel. The rooms are furnished with everything you would need for a comfortable stay - we were even able to have some meals at the property, on the balcony, overlooking the beautiful garden. The staff is very accommodating and friendly, without being intrusive at all.
Everything was great. The apartment size is very good for a family with 2 kids. It is very clean and has all the needed amenities to prepare a meal. The pool area is very very nice and well-maintained. It has a private atmosphere since only 6 apartments use the pool. The location is great since it is only 10min easy drive to Corfu's old town and 15-30 minutes to the best beaches. The view to kontokali marina is also very nice. My rate for Corfu Anastasia is 10+.
Clean, QUIET, good air conditioner and friendly host- just what I was looking for. Loved the balcony and drying rack to hang wet swim stuff. Pool and grounds were beautiful and well kept. Always found parking easily right in front of property. Driving to various beaches around Corfu was no problem and I thought the location of this villa was a nice home base to explore the island. Very happy with my stay.
The location was close to the harbor and down town. We enjoyed the scenic view from the balcony. The hotel has a charming Venetian style and a very clean swimming pool with a beautiful landscape of flowers and palm trees. There is also an attractive patio area for relaxing. The vegetable gardens are amazing. The hosts were very hospitable and
weblook forward to return to Eftichia's Villa in the future.
The cottage and views are stunning. The location is ideal, not very far from Corfu town and centrally located which made it easy to explore the rest of the island. It is a beautiful area with sea and forest views, but a large aspect of our first trip to Corfu were the people. Andreas and Mariana were the warmest hosts introducing us to Corfiot culture and food. We had an amazing two weeks!
The hosts were extremely friendly and welcoming, the apartments were nicely furnished and spacious. Location is quiet and perfect for family with small kids.Kontokali Beach is nearby - around 5-10min walking. Stunning view of the Kontokali Bay with perfect sunsets as villa is facing west. Generally the value for price was extremely good.
This is the most beautiful hotel I have visited In my entire travel life. Best place to chill and slow down. Fully recommend to those who want to relax in the circumstances of nature or by the pool or who want a good base in Corfu. And Christian is truly one of a kind. Saved into my favourite place.
The breakfasts (outdoors Greek, indoors more european) were rich and sumptious. Beach clean and water crystal clear. Staff friendly, all over. Shuttle bus to Corfu helpful extra. Good location from which to travel either north (one day) or south (another day)..
+Dimitra is extremely hospitable host
+ location is great (beach is nearby 5 min on foot, 3 supermarkets are 5 min on car, Corfu city is 10 min on car)
+pool
+views for apartment
+wifi is working near the pool excellent
+ great value for money
hotel is great, everything is new and perfectly clean, staff absolutely amazing, but the location is not good as the beach nearby is ugly and you definitely need a car if you want to enjoy beautiful beaches and different restaurants.
Spacious rooms. Each room of our apartment has a large balcony and beautiful sight on the gulf.
Well equipped, clean.
The housekeeper lady is very kind.
Nice garden.
Family friendly.
The Kontokali beach is in 5 minutes walk.
The apartment has everything for a couple of days, new, clean and in a calm area.
It's close to Corfu Town and Ypsos as well, like 10 min drive and you can find stores really close to the area
The room was clean and close to the bus station (10 min to Corfu town). It was alright overall because we booked it in order to get quickly to Corfu and we spent most of the time there.
Clean room. Good breakfast in nice surroundings. Helpful staff who even welcomed me to use the Wi-Fi four days after I had left the hotel to do my return to UK travel paperwork.
