Stunning hotel in the perfect location. Rooms are modern and spacious. I had a room with a balcony facing the harbor which was a real treat. Breakfast was pleasant and served inside or outside overlooking the harbor.

The hotel was beyond our wildest dreams. Old world charm, with a heavenly view over the sea. The staff were so kind. Best all was Zoe, the concierge - who went above and beyond to help us.

The location was easy to find and the walk from the port to the venue was easy with no steps to climb.

Fantastic, excellent, amazing, and exceeded my expectations.
Fantastic, excellent, amazing, and exceeded my expectations. Visiting again for sure, can't wait to experience it once more. I didn't have inclusive breakfast, but knowing the hotel, I'm sure it would be good. There are so many bars and restaurants that cater to all needs, cheap and cheerful, middle-of-the-range, or high-end. Location-wise, the hotel is excellent and extremely central, a gem, charming, right in the heart of the island. The staff were very helpful, who went over and beyond, plus always cheerful. Happy to learn your needs and point you in the right direction. The owner: family-run hotel, who rescued an architecturally beautiful and run-down building and has been gradually renovating the hotel during wintertime. The guests don't see or hear any of the renovation works, they are behind the scenes, but they do gradually go on not seen or heard. The old lift in the hotel has a little of a modern sparkle about it, but it is delightful and has a lovely musical tinkle when in the lift, a must-experience. Most of the hotel rooms have sea views, but if you don't have a sea view, don't be alarmed, you will have a lovely spacious clean room with a view and perhaps and balcony, but if not whatever room you get: large or small, it is clean, comfortable and perfect for a beach holiday! After all it is an island and for what you are paying for a large or small room, balcony or not, you’re still getting an en-suite and great value for money; on a beach holiday, you’re out all the time enjoying the sea and sun and local cuisines, not sitting in the hotel room! It really is value for money and more! It has a lift, and the building has character. My room was very comfortable. If you are looking to save costs and want an all exclusive, book the room and you will find all types of catering needs across the island: cheap-middle range-high end.

Beautiful island with lots of flowers.
Beautiful island with lots of flowers. Relatively little traffic. Bring your walking shoes and some water shoes for the pebble beaches. Ask for recommendations about where to eat and make reservations if you go in high season. Definitely take a round the island boat trip - that was the best thing we did. We chose Lefteris Tsanas https://www.facebook.com/p/Spetses-Fishing-trips-and-traditional-boat-tours-100069392708838/. The cost was very reasonable and he is a knowledgeable and personable tour guide and local fisherman who supports sustainable fishing practices for the entire island. He brought along Greek mezes for our trip which were homemade and included octopus he had caught himself...it was magical!

Our favourite places was new port and old port.
Our favourite places was new port and old port. It was easy to walk around the center, but for beaches you have to go with motorbike or bicycle. I was impressed with the hospitality of the locals and their willingness to help. Also we ate at patralis fish tavern and Agios in the center the food was great. The beaches were good in a stunning location, the disadvantage was that they have small stones, not sand.

Hotel Kastro is in a deal location for walking about Spetses town. Lots of cafes and eateries. Our favourite was PATRALIS, definitely! Freshly prepared dishes to cater for all tastes. Plus service and hospitality at KASTRO HOTEL exceeded expectations! Their breakfast had a huge variety and was enjoyed thoroughly sitting next to pool and shady trees! Loved it! Thanking Christian’s and Svet and the team for going above and beyond.

Not crowded and not very touristy.
Not crowded and not very touristy. Mostly Greeks on holiday and locals.
Nice shops cafes, tavernas etc.restaurant in the old port were great. We loved Patralis in the other direction it had wonderful seafood. Except when we went to the beaches we walked everywhere.
Transport is taxi, bus, horse and cart or you can hire bikes or mopeds. Keep the number of your hotel handy so if the bus is full on your way home from the beach they can send you a taxi.
People were all very nice. Would visit again
location is prime. hotel bar. restaurants, super market, shops and ocean literally a stones throw away! front desk staff is the most friendly and helpful. gave us great advice for activities such as hikes and where to walk. even arranged for ATV to be dropped off at hotel. so so helpful. highly recommend this hotel. also, I haven’t even gotten started on the rooms. balcony views of the ocean and you get to see the beautiful sunrise. love love love this hotel. 5 star rating. 10/10 would recommend and come here again!
What an absolute treat to stay at this lovely hotel! Everything was so wonderful from the location, the room, the breakfast and the exceptional owners and staff. I wished our stay was longer and it was so hard to leave. Spetses is a beautiful island full of flowers and very good restaurants, bars and shops. A boat trip around the island is a MUST as some of the inaccessible beaches are so beautiful. This feels like an unspoiled and authentically Greek island with so much charm.
The most friendly staff who goes above and beyond for their guests. The front desk is always available to help with any request and the housekeeping staff is very attentive when it comes to turn down service. The breakfast was incredible as well. I can’t say enough good things about this hotel and would recommend it to anyone visiting the island of Spetses. The hotel was run like a family business and by the end of our stay we felt like we knew the staff and will miss seeing them !
We loved the clean, modern and spacious room, intimate hotel size (with only a handful of rooms) and proximity to the seaside and local restaurants, coffee shops and bars. We also really appreciated how quiet our room was, with its own entrance, and that we had a private patio area and table where we could enjoy breakfast outside. Breakfast was included with our room and conveniently delivered to our room upon request via WhatsApp. The proprietor, Fotis, is super chill!
I loved everything about Twin House and Spetses. My room was large and comfortable but I’d come back for the breakfast alone! The homemade pastries and delights were absolutely to die for - they made me jump out of bed and head downstairs an hour before breakfast just so I’d be there in time!
The staff is more than amazing and so helpful!! The location is perfect - as I walked everywhere in town or jumped on the bus to a beautiful beach on the other side of the island.
The manager Ms. Tina Papageorgiou with her team offers superb service, with attention to the clients needs, ready to facilitate and assist, combining professionalism with smile, an advertisement of fine Spetses hospitality, Quite comfortable rooms, cleanliness, comfortable beds. A very rich and tasteful breakfast buffet, nicely laid out and comfortable and nicely laid out breakfast space al fresco under the pergola, with quality local products and tasty Greek pies.
Fantastic location on the sea front, walking distance from the ferry terminal. Spacious units with handy kitchenette and decently sized fridge - super if you have kids that suddenly go hungry. The pool is fantastic for kids and adults (separated).
Breakfasts were idyllic, outside with a view of the sea, great beroert and the best yogurt!
I would easily say it’s the best destination to stay in Spetses.
Daily cleaning, friendly staff, comfortable beds.
This is a real gem slightly out of town from the main port but well worth the 15 min walk
it is very close to the Old Port which is charming and had great choice of good restaurants
The stand out point of the hotel is the wonderful garden and amazing pool where breakfast is taken in the morning
the rooms were of a good standard and very clean
The hosts were very attentive and friendly
overall a fantastic place to stay on Spetses island
Breakfast was free and AMAZING - more options than you could imagine and the best coffee I had all trip :) the wifi was perfect for working remote and they had a yoga room which was so blissful. The staff and owners were super sweet and helped us with food recommendations as well as e-bike rentals. I will recommend this place to anyone going to Spetses and hope to be back!
The property was great, renovated recently and all the stuff along the people in reception to the Hotel manager were really pleased to assist you and make your stay worth. The location of the hotel is right in front of the main port of the island where the boat taxis and ferries area docking. Would totally visit them again on our next trip to Spetses.
We could not recommend this little property more. The location is great and each room is beautifully decorated and clean. Communication was also very efficient, messaging from booking we would have received a response very promptly. The staff is also very attentive and accommodating. We would definitely come back once in Spetses!
The hotel is in an 19th century mansion with high ceilings a very comfortable living room and has an overall unique feel. Vasilis the host, is a very nice person that loves Spetses and is a wealth of information about the island. We had a very nice conversation about the island and life in Spetses before departing.
This was a lovely designed boutique hotel that a lot of thought and attention to detail have gone into in providing a beautiful space to stay.
It was clean, and everything about the rooms were lovely, with generous facilities, including a kettle which is essential for the seasoned British traveller!
The hotel is in a near a bus station - called "Spetses-Hotel" runs almost every hour, 1km away from Dapia Center)
Breakfast was not rich but adequate
Good WiFi (even in the 2nd floor)
Shower pressure and the toilet water pressure ok
TV Signal ok
Soft pillows and bed.
We had such an incredible stay here! Maria & the staff are exceptional—so accommodating & pleasant. They really made our stay special. The hotel itself is clean, quaint and really a treat. I’m so glad we chose to stay here and hope to be back again soon.
The hotel has a beautiful inner courtyard with lemon trees where an excellent breakfast is served. It is peaceful and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The hotel was absolutely beautiful! The view is absolutely amazing.Wonderful service! Breakfast was delicious. Best hotel in Spetses! I can't wait to see you again Poseidonion 😍
a beautiful boutique hotel on Spetses .
full of character and welcoming in their attitude. loved the old merchants house and small touches that made you feel at home easily
The location is brililant - right off the ferry dock, and next to the main shopping street. Since Spetses is quite large, I enjoyed being in the middle of everything.
The hotel is clean quiet and functional.
However, the staff especially Spiros, made the stay welcoming and comfortable. He went out if his way to help us.
