The whole place is amazing - Soline are small and charming, hosts are super nice and pleasant, accommodation is clean, functional, spacey, with a beautiful terrace and the most wonderful view. The location was amazing.
Stunning views and at the start of hiking/ biking trails. Bike rental in the village.
Accomodation had basic cooking facilities, with a small shop close by. Also a bakery that's open until 2pm.

On arrival we collected the keys 10-20m from the ferry at their restaurant. As mentioned before lots of manageable stairs (if that is an issue, but not a lot by European standards 🤔). Once inside all on one level, Rm 5.
Great views as you walk up!
We liked their response, “we are here to make your visit pleasurable so if not satisfied or if there is a problem please contact one of our staff and we will solve things immediately.” This is a respected response since they are willing to help at the time & set the tone.
Large entry foyer, good space for luggage, then the room was lovely, 2 comfortable single beds together ( this seems to be common as we move through Croatia). Didn’t realise this at first 👍. Good size room to accommodate bed with ample space around it. Bathroom off foyer so don’t disturb partner during the night.
Fantastic window looking out at glimpses of bay & terraces.
Our host looked after, luggage after check out for the whole day.
Very accommodating and friendly would recommend.
Note: National Park Pass-credit card, fantastic facilities for all levels, trails, bikes, get bikes cheaper inside the park- 20€ for 2hrs, electric train, cafe, tourist bureau; solar boats to monastery & the most friendly staff, all in the pass, 500m from accommodation.

The national park is beautiful, plenty of spots for swimming. We hired mountain bikes in Pomena and cycled into the park and round the two salt lakes stopping for swimming breaks. We also hired a scooter on another day and drove the Odyssey's cave which was breathtaking, quite a hike down there but so worth it!

Babino Kuce is the bloody best place to stay on Mljet.
Babino Kuce is the bloody best place to stay on Mljet. Very cosy and quiet even in high season, the most beautiful Dalmatian atmosphere with all pervading scent of pines, jasmin, fig and rosemary. Amazingly beautiful landscape at the lakes in the national park and all around Mljet.
Do count with extra costs since staying within the actual national park, not too high though.
