Carrig island lodge is in a stunning location with a gorgeous view of the castle, the house was absolutely immaculate and was fully equipped with anything you could of thought of like towels, shampoo etc.. as a family of 10 we all had loads of space in bedrooms and beds were so comfortable. Has lots cooking equipment, Toaster and Frying pan, saucepans, mugs, plates, cutlery, glasses all good condition...but air conductor above cooker...couldnt find how to turn it on or didnt work...so cooking fish and other smells linger.
Shower great, my father loved the floors and lightness, and the set up of the Apartment. TV's in both bedrooms and huge one in sitting room. Does have Wifi. Location was practical as round the corner to the shops and next to Aldi, parking opposite on the road. Plenty of clean bedding and towels in cupboards, beds comfortable. Recommend Coffey's Fish and chips in town, and the Alcohol shop almost next door is an Aladdins cave. The Health Food Shop stocks loads of great alternative products and staff knowledgeable. Even though we didnt see the owner he was available on the phone and very nice.
