The room was a good size. Bed was ok, although two singles joined not a full double bed. Breakfast was ok.
During our stay we had a little medical emergency. The hotel staff was wonderful. They made good recommendations, interacted with the hospital and secured good transportation to the hospital. They could not have been more helpful and things turned out well. After we got back late they arranged for a meal even though the kitchen had just closed. They went out of their way!
Beautiful hotel, very clean, great staff and lovely gardens outside.
Very good breakfast, beautiful views of the park.
Unreal desserts in the restaurant in the main building. I would live only on desserts there - worth a trip even for the afternoon tea!
Very nice people, Cesar + older porter (didn’t get his name) and Traicy (reception) are the absolute rock stars!
Have stayed in many hotels in Ireland but this one ranks in my top three.
It had everything one wishes for- Warmth and comfort, lovely four-poster bed fit for a king, peace and quiet, delicious food, very friendly and obliging staff, beautiful indoor decor and nicely designed gardens with very attractive ornamentation. Will definitely stay there again.
From the the time we entered we were absolutely blown away by the professionalism of the staff, the actual hotel and location. If we didn’t have to be back home for an appointment tomorrow morning early, we would have stayed another night. We will definitely be returning for a longer stay as soon as we can.
Surrounding area was amazing. Nature and parks are really beautiful. We loved our fishing activity, that was great fun. Also hotel is very beautiful, clean and stylish, with beautiful art. Super comfy beds and very nice and spacious room. Hotel itself is amazing.
The cleanliness was phenomenal. I run one of Ireland’s largest gyms, we pride ourselves on the cleanliness of it but this was ten times ahead of us in that regard
