We had a lovely stay at Kharjap homestay in April 24. The hosts were extremely welcoming and gracious, and we really enjoyed meeting the whole family and getting to know more about the place, it's culture and the efforts to preserve the local traditions. Tashi and Lumu looked after us really well, with simple but amazing home cooked food, and we felt like we were staying at home away from home. The local village has a wonderful 17th century fort that is very interesting to explore and learn about - do ask the hosts for a guided walk around it if you do visit. There are also wonderful views of the mountains around the area, however we were unlucky with the cloud cover and could only get a small glimpse during our stay.

Lovely comfortable stay at Monshing homestay. The place was easy to find being quite central in Bomdila. A food menu is available with prices making it easy to select dinner and breakfast choices. Food was very tasty and served in the common living area. Rooms were comfortable, with heating and hot water facilities. Welcoming hosts and a very easy check in experience.

The hotel is located on the top of the hill, and you can enjoy a scenic beauty from the balcony, overlooking the mountain and the Dirang town itself. We booked a suit room, and it was perfect for a family with kids. It was very spacious and clean. The breakfast was a simple one but good enough and the dining room was quite big and you can have a nice view from there itself . We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in the hotel and thankful for the hotel staff for their excellent service
There is nothing much of interest to stay around in Bomdila.
There is nothing much of interest to stay around in Bomdila. Its just a main monastery of Bomdila one could visit, but again not of any great consequence, Use Bomdila purely for a night halt if you think so while travelling to/from Twang. It is a mountainous place and you get to see more than enough of mountains and greens while travelling to Twang.
