Good for biodiversity and living with local people's. They are nice, friendly, cooperative. Not good for no provision of any food by homestay. In heavy downpour and with high fever I stayed two days. One day with out breakfast and lunch. Another good very clean village, restaurants food caused dysentery of allsomdattaIndia - 10Scored 10
Superb place.
Superb place. Worth seeing their efforts to keep village clean and beautiful. Going to Tree houses was a great experience. Mawlynnong though lacks in providing good food. There are hardly few good places. Travellers should carry some food with them. Village is beautiful and clean but food joints are not perhaps. Their small ethic market is appealing. Everything closes by 7pm. Seeing sky touching tall lovely beetle nut trees is an valuable experience
