Tirunelveli is a city offering a variety of features, in and...
Tirunelveli is a city offering a variety of features, in and around: hindu temples, from nellaiappar temple to nava tirupathis, known for beautiful architecture; river tambirabarani, ever flowing, but choose where to bathe carefully; upstream locations like kallidaikurichi, ambasamudram, and of course agasthiyar falls are good; if in season, courtallam is very appealing with it s falls; kalakkad sanctuary; variety of transport--auto, taxi, rented car, and public bus...are all good, but negotiate in advance. festival days like panguni uthiram get large number of visitors making transport and stay at short notice very difficult. finally, enjoy tirunelveli halwa, sourced from good shops.

This was our first visit to this temple town and we didn't have too much time to be able to comment on the town. It was a bit congested, but this is expected, in a place that is famous for its temples.
We had a very pleasant stay here. The staff were helpful, and courteous. The breakfast spread was excellent. The quality of dishes during dinner was outstanding. Our compliments to the chef, Mr.Selvam. Personal touches in the room such as jasmine flowers and chikki for bedtime was a delight. The bathrooms were clean, the hot water showers worked well. The facilities were clean and well-maintained. The hotel arranged taxi service which was convenient, though the initial quote for the service was slightly off.
The stay was very pleasant. Amenities are very good - there is a modular kitchen with gas stove sink utensils and washing machine... sofa Tv; clean beds and pillows is to be considered as an edge to the top quality. We had towels + soap and a very neat premise... overall a very good experience. will recommend to my family n friends
My next visit would only be here and not to hotels.
We were denied check in When we reached at midnight, the hotel management says they don't entertain online booking anymore, and when asked for room he demands 3 times the price of online speaking rudely to take it or leave in the middle of the night, very bad experience worst thing is this hotel is located in some kind of a slum area and no proper parking or approach
Breakfast was good but very expensive. Hotel was located right opposite to Main bus stand and lot of small big restaurants were there. Staffs were very friendly except one guy who always said “No”to all my requests and needs which can be done. Later on another staff came to me and did everything which I wanted 😊
they upgraded to suite withe less cost and should try it.
i had meet the same person, Mr Joseph Rajnikanth. he was perfect last time and this time also he is the best man i had seen.
wonderful breakfast team, even though 10.30am, they supported us a lot.

Had a pleasant and comfortable stay at Janakiram hotel. well maintained, hygiene and clean rooms. Hospitable staff and this hotel is right in the heart of tirunelveli town.
There are a very few things that are positive about the hotel. One is central location...it is just too central, crowded and congested locality. Extremely, extremely noisy
Staffs and hotel front desk accommodated early checkin request and were very helpful for my parents throughout the stay. Will visit again if we travel to nellai again
Hotel location, infra and size of room, all were good. felt it was little highly priced so wouldn't fit the value for money for the town it is situated in.
