a nice town with an old part behind the walls. lots of greenery, parking lots and bars, walking paths and restaurants.During the day, we walked around Okpliška, in the evening we came to the city for dinner and to the accommodation to rest. we ate at pizzeria Rosso vivo. I have never had a better pizza, the price was not too high either. The food at La Torretta was also very tasty.

Chianciano Terme is a quaint little southern Tuscany town with great restaurants, little streets and beautiful architecture. It's a great gateway to many other local towns such as Montepulciano, Pienza, San Gimignano among many others. There are thermal sources nearby such as San Filippo and great hikes such as la Foce. Florence is a 2 1/2 - 3 hours drive depending on traffic.

Charming local town with some good bars and restaurants. A great base away from the tourists hot spots but an excellent location to visit those attractions whilst experiencing life in a real local Tuscan town.

The museum is amazing!!!
The museum is amazing!!! We were hoping to visit a thermal pool but the one
we went to (Theia) had so many rules and was so expensive for the amount of time we wanted to stay that we left. (The staff there could have been friendlier.) It’s probably better to go if you have several hours to spend. Also, as Americans from Montana, it was stressful and confusing trying to figure out rules for parking. Chianciano is nicely situated for day drives to other beautiful spots in Tuscany and Umbria.

The reviewers should estimate positively the items that are not advertised in the hotel offer at booking.com, ie some "value added" items, and for us it is balcony and the ceiling ventilator... and also I think that the room size had more (even without balcony) than just 16 square metres as advertised at booking.com.
I spoke a little Italian so the landlord Gianny and I could understand each other...however either his wife or his son were always in the vicinity so they could also translate...
Breakfast was from 8am but Gianni kindly offered us to have it from 7:30am if we wished so...
He often weared the mask, and always did at our breakfast so he really kept the anti-covid measures.
I don't like estimating location because the guests themselves can choose BEFORE THE RESERVATION if it is "far from the centre/beach/bus station/..." so I find stupid to say in reviews that it was "too far"...

Chianciano, as a city, looked pretty deserted, like a tornado went through. Covid probably affected the tourism in the area. Nobody is investing in jotels too much. However, for Terme, I like that it was clean, the made cleaned up every day, and the breakfast was decent (compared to Alexander Palme which is awful). Parking is available around the hotel and the staff in general was friendly. I did not use the spa, but I heard people having fun in the evening. It has a restaurant, which is convenient since most things are closed in Chianciano.
Chic elegance while maintaining a pastoral feel and connection to the land. The main building is very well maintained and elegantly designed to compliment the area. The attention to detail in the finishings and decor are exquisite. They have curated several areas of mystique and interest using stone pathways, hedges and hidden sitting areas overlooking the rolling hills and vineyards. The glass solarium (greenhouse) made the perfect little breakfast area with outdoor seating options, again with pea gravel.
Given the price I was offered (and it probably was a very good deal), my stay in the hotel was simply amazing. The breakfast was great for Italian standards, the room well isolated and no noise from the street would come through. Parking available, safe and free. The staff helpful, patient and understanding. A good place to rest, but nothing fancy of course. I would certainly recommend as a solid, reasonably priced stop on a way to any of the nearby highlights.
Alergo Giglio is a large modest hotel, recently painted with some new bathroom fitting and very plain, almost IKEA-like furnishings. Good value for the money; quiet as much due to the scarcity of guests as for the heavy concrete construction. The provided breakfast layout was good with fresh fruit, cereals, cheese and some meats and selection of nicely-baked goods. Good expresso/capucinno coffees served by helpful staff. Clean, modest at a modest price.
Chiarentana had the perfect location near Val D’Orcia. The villa estate was authentically Toscano. It was romantic and dreamy. Even for a couple of nights you feel like you have your own estate. The olive trees surrounding the expansive property. Kitchen was highly functional. Wasn’t able to use the laundry area or the swimming pool
The staff was so welcoming, warm, and accommodating. The room was very clean and comfortable for my family of four. The pool with an amazing view was a lifesaver for our young children, and the food in the restaurant was fantastic. We departed today and are already discussing retuning next year. I cannot speak highly enough.
Great staff. The lady with the lovely ringlets on reception could not have been kinder as was the waitress at breakfast. There was a wide choice of breakfast dishes, both savory and sweet.
The hotel is pretty close to the old town and really close to the 'Terme' and we were able to park on site which is always a plus.
The location is just a short drive from the Val D'Orcia and some of its most famous sites for photography. The hotel offers free parking space and the staff is friendly although not with good English skills. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast was enjoyable.
The hotel is really very nice, clean and well situated. The personal is very helpful (it looks like it’s a family run business).
We had standard rooms, with breakfast included. We would recommend this hotel.
We absolutely loved the atmosphere here. The scenic landscape is incredible! The staff super lovely people. The spa was amazing and the prices here are the best value anywhere. LOVE Palazzo Bandino!
I kinda fell in love with the staff, she was amazing. I felt at home, I felt like I was in a bed & breakfast, not a hotel. The decor of the lobby and cafe looks great, it’s a semi-deco aesthetic.
Spa. Massage and reflexology. Excellent food In restaurant. Excellent wine list.Friendly, efficient staff at front desk, restaurant and spa. Convenient location for shopping.
My family have a good time staying in the apartment, it is spacious, well-equipped, very clean. The parking is very big for my rental car. Definitely recommend.
