A wonderful guesthouse with a great traditional feel and lovely gardens. Location is great, in a nice town with a short walk to train station (easy access to Okayama and ferry port for Naoshima). I had the impression it was just a room. I was so surprised there's a kitchenette (there aren't any cooking utensils but there's no stopping you from bringing cooking utensils I guess) and even a laundry machine inside the room. They even provide soap and coat deodoriser which are little touches that are very thoughtful of them/anticipates the needs of the guest.

The location was fantastic. It was 30 seconds from the Bikan area and there was a convenience store just across the road. Also, both the room and the bed were much bigger than normal for the price.
