Good hotel a short walk (under 200m) from the train station in a less busy area. The room I had was quite small but comfortable - the bed occupied most of it, so a typical Japanese hotel for travellers. Very good value for money though. I did not use the onsen. Good laundry facility. Staff were quite helpful and their English is much better than my Japanese! Public transport very close by - the main bus area is just on the other side of the train station, from which you can get to all the tourist attractions.

It's a nice hotel, the rooms are clean and the breakfast is very good! And they have free coffee and tea all day long. The employees are very kind and helpful. The bathrooms are a bit old but clean so that is nod a bad thing just some information on what to expect.

I really liked the location, it was quite near the Nara park and all of the temples (just 15 min walk). The staff was nice and even after checkout I could leave my things at the reception and wander around some more

The room was superb with lots of charm. The restaurant was closed when I arrived, but the receptionist prepared me a fine nasi goreng! So overall a great stay.
