Nairobi offers an exciting blend of adventure, culture, and urban charm. The city is a gateway to thrilling wildlife experiences, with the Nairobi National Park providing a rare opportunity to see, giraffes, and rhinos against a backdrop of skyscrapers. The Giraffe Centre allow for intimate encounters with giraffes. Nairobi's rich cultural heritage is showcased in attractions like the Karen Blixen Museum and the Nairobi National Museum. The bustling Maasai Market is perfect for shopping for local crafts and souvenirs. Culinary delights abound, from street food stalls to high-end restaurants offering both local and international cuisine. Despite its busy urban environment, Nairobi has serene spots like the Karura Forest for nature walks and picnics but was flooded during my visit. The city's vibrant nightlife, friendly locals, and mix of traditional and modern experiences make Nairobi a captivating destination for any traveler. Be extra cautious of your safety and belongings while travelling, lurking danger of thefts always.

Buzzing city with a lot of restaurants, bars and social places. Easy modes of transport. Highway has made it wonderful to go from airport to town and vice versa. Lots of greenery and access to game lodges and parks. Lots of high rise buildings too which is not so nice.

loved Nairobi elephant orphanage and giraffe Centre a must - we also saw Bomas of Kenya and some museums. Also visited a tea farm which was a great relaxing day. Restaurants we visited were very nice. People very friendly - easiest way to get around is make sure you have uber app although be careful of them trying to hike price up when they realize you are tourists. Try not to arrange visits for peak travel time as roads are extreamly busy and can be scary. Also if there it is an absolute must to book safari.

I like that there are small privately owned shops and street hawkers. I prefer shopping at individual stalls as opposed to a department store. The food at The Olive Restaurant is a good value. I'd love to look around Simlaw Seeds; I used to have a farm and will return to farming.

I was feeling quite unwell as I arrived to Nairobi and Fahari Triple Hotel was located very near to the bus drop-off place, so it really saved my life. The staff is super attentive and welcoming, very helpful, assisting me with my luggage to carry it upstairs as well as downstairs (there is no lift for the fist floor, which is quite strange). The room was very spacious and good for the price. Good view over the CBD area (Central Business District or something like that). The Wifi was even working properly, if I remember correctly.

I stayed here on and off (as was using Nairobi as a base in Kenya) over a couple of weeks. The hotel is amazing value and has a good and cheap restaurant / bar meaning you don’t have to walk outside at night. It is gated and has a security guard all the time so is very safe. Staff and check in was functional and nice people working in the restaurant too. Location is good and whilst you can walk to the CBD, I just took Uber’s to ensure safety and they are very cheap. Wi-Fi was good as well. All beds had mosquito nets

Everything. The apartment was very clean, modern and spacious with all the necessities it felt just like home. The host Isaac was very welcoming, professional and kind. He made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us every now and then. The building is strategic in the heart of Westlands. Everything from shops to restaurants is at a walking distance. Security is maximum. There is a rooftop pool with a panoramic view of the city and a fully equiped gym. It was one of our best stays in Nairobi.

Everything. It was affordable, the bed was clean and comfortable to sleep in, and the bathroom had proper cold shower. I actually stayed on my first 2 nights in Nairobi, before I travelled to other cities across Kenya and Tanzania. And when I came back to Nairobi to spend my remaining 3 days there before leaving Kenya for good, I booked the hotel again because of my overall positive experience there. It's also in the centre of downtown Nairobi so finding transport and food was easy.

Very friendly personnel. We were upgraded without extra costs to a spacious room. Convenient situation not far from Nairobi CBD. Covid-restrictions had just been lifted the week before the visit and due to very few visitors the main restaurant was not opened. Due to "just after lockdown" the choice of menu was limited. Breakfast - average. The entourage in the cafetaria is nice and very fine to sit outdoors.
