Great staff. Fun night at restaurant with very good mussels and lobster. Watched Championship league soccer with other locals on big screen TV. Excellent location to lagoon. So glad we stayed here on a stopover from Essasouria.

Feels a bit like undiscovered St Tropez.
Feels a bit like undiscovered St Tropez. Beautiful, striking views, nature, bird watching. Unfortunately, the way they cooked fish at most places was not up to par for us. That's pretty much our only complaint though. And the water in April was just a tad cold for swimming. Others were swimming though.

Oualidia is a small town.
Oualidia is a small town. Perfect to get away from the busy life in the big city. Both the lagoon as the beach are beautiful spots. On the beach you can eat delicious seafood. Yes, you read it correctly: on the beach! The lagoon is also a perfect spot to surf, SUP or try kitesurfing. If you are here on a Saturday, definitly have a look at the market. This market is big and you can buy fruits, veggies, clothes, furniture and so much more! I had an amazing time in Oualidia and I wished I stayed longer (even I stayed there 5 nights).

Oualidia is beautiful, very quiet and very relaxing around...
Oualidia is beautiful, very quiet and very relaxing around the lagoon. The beach had facilities to hire chairs and parasols should you require them. The only regret we had is that we didn't spend enough time in Oualidia, we spent one night, but then again, we will have to visit again for a little longer next time.

If you are the turist from europe, nothing to do in Oualidia...
If you are the turist from europe, nothing to do in Oualidia as local people and turists looking at you non stop. You can't take a normal swim in laguna as full of local people and you have to search wild bitch where is next to ocean only possible, so no point to go there.
One of the things that made my stay at this hotel even more special was the fact that it was family-run. You could tell that they put a lot of love and care into their home, which made for an especially nice stay. The attention to detail and personalized touches throughout the room were truly appreciated and made for a memorable experience. he room was also impeccably clean, making for a comfortable and welcoming stay. Highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a cozy and well-maintained place to stay.
Taking the breakfast (delicious!) with a view on the laguna, hearing the ocean waves crash behind the dunes was a great moment. The staff was very friendly, easily reachable (also via Whatsapp which is handy for people with no local number), located off the main street leading to Oualidia. The room was huge and good value for money. You can hike next to the laguna riverbed all the way to Oualidia (attention to the tides as with high tide the passage requires you to get rid of your shoes :)).
I had a reservation for five rooms that was canceled 24 hours in advance, leaving me in a difficult position to find enough rooms for the group I was traveling with. I am certain that this is a very beautiful location and I can’t read it for that reason. I had been told to update my credit card information, which I did well in advance and yet the hotel called me with less than 24 hours to find new rooms. I did this and they were not satisfactory. I was very disappointed
The hotel is right on the beach and has magnificent views from the terrace. The highlight is the gardens which are absolutely beautiful and lovingly cared for by the gardener. There is also a super clean pool where you can relax in lounge chairs around it. The rooms are clean and cute with comfortable beds and modern bathroom fixtures. You can take a sightseeing boat trip right from the hotel or walk into town/around the point. We enjoyed relaxing here!
Wonderful apartment! Impeccably clean & well-appointed. Lovely traditional design with many thoughtful touches. Spacious interior and very comfy bed. Very nice & cozy terrace with an amazing view of lagoon. Excellent location, within easy walking distance of entire Oualidia village, as well as beach areas and dunes. Best of all was the warm welcome I received from the truly beautiful and caring host family! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here.
It was cheap and Naim (the owner) was helpful in the beginning(!). He told us about Oualidia and the activities that we can do around. The apartment has a nice terrace with a view, we couldn't enjoy it tough because it was so windy. There is a small market very close to this accomadation and you can get a traditional breakfast next to that small market which was amazing.
Wonderfully quirky hotel with the best view in Oualidia, and easy access to the lagune.
The breakfast was outstanding. "Best breakfast of the holiday" according my better half.
We also ended up eating dinner in both nights, due to the covid curfew. Great home-cooked food, and we know home-cooked Moroccan food. Very accommodating of our vegetarian teenager.
Everything: the beds are comfortable, the kitchen and bathroom are new, everything was very clean, nicely decorated, huge terrace, very nice family owners (super friendly and hospitable), the area is very nice - local and close to the beach (nice walks)
It was the best apartment we had in Morocco during three months of traveling
Very well run hotel with the owner absolutely proactive offering help and recommendations. My room had everything needed for short and long stays. It's located away from the noise of the city therefore you get a good sleep. The terrace is wonderful with 360 degree view, great for sunsets. Very highly recommended.
The service was very good, and our stay was so relaxing. I really liked the amenities. The price I paid was absolutely worth it. The staff, namely Tarik, was really kind and willing to attend any request. I highly recommend Oualidia as a destination and Dar Doukkala as a host.
From start to finish, our experience was nothing short of extraordinary, and one aspect that truly stood out was the impeccable service offered by the hotel staff, which exceeded all expectations and greatly contributed to our overall enjoyment of the stay.
We were met at the taxi stand by the owner and he accompanied us to the property
He also prepared a fish taking one evening for us that was the best we had in Morocco with a fresh fish he caught that day.
Super friendly and hospitable host.
Wonderful apartment! Ssi Mohammed is a genuinely nice person. We enjoyed our stay in Oualidia - it's a memorable experience that the kids are still talking about. It offers a good price/quality deal.
