Wonderful stay in Luderitz. B&B style accommodation but with a small kitchen attached to the room. Scrupulously clean throughout, comfortable bed, plenty of hot water, well equipped kitchen and decent wifi. Phyllicia the host and her husband were very friendly and welcoming. Located on a quiet residential street with secure parking - 5 minute drive or 20-30 minute walk into the main parts of Luderitz, supermarkets, restaurants, etc. If we were back in Luderitz would certainly stay again, we only stayed the 1 night but could comfortably stayed longer.

Super well though through property ideal for families of a group of friends. Dont be put off that its not located in the old part of Luderitz as you can reach it very quickly by car. There was safe of street parking and extra security with CCTV cameras. The host is super friendly and made us feel straight at home.

We only were able to spend two nights here but we could have stayed longer. There’s some lovely old buildings to see and photograph in the shopping main area. We visited Kolmamskopp, an abandoned town and Agate beach where you can see flamingos on the lagoon. There’s a couple of good supermarkets for restocking if you’re in a camper.

Luderitz was a gem of history, the most beautiful old buildings in town, and amaizing sunset views over the bay. Kolmanskop, just outside of town, is a must to visit. There is really nothing of Luderitz , that we did not like.

Luderitz is a very historical town with German colonial buildings and architecture. The abandoned diamond town of Kolmanskop is 10 km away and is a most interesting place to explore on foot. The waterfront area is good to explore on foot. There is also good seafood to be enjoyed at restaurants like the Portuguese Fisherman. Kolmanskop is closed at 1 pm while other attractions like the Luderitz museum and Felsenkirk are only open in the afternoons.

Beutiful town with many hidden gems. Kolmanskop is just out of town and is a must visit as well as the Dias cross and harbour. I was pleasantly surprised. The town must be one of the friendliest places I have ever visited.

It is a clean, neat, overall safe place to visit. We've checked into the hotel and basically covered most of the historic buildings, restaurants, shops and scenery by foot. Kolmanskop is a definite must to visit.

    Great destination.

Great destination. Historical settlement of early diamond miners - see nearby Kolmanskop. Keen photographers can capture amazing images of a Namib desert invasion of the town's abandoned dwellings. Excellent guiding of this very unusual museum. Luderitz is renowned for it's fresh oysters and beautiful sunsets that can be viewed from surrounding rocky outcrops. The Portuguese explorer B. Diaz landed here in 1488. Present day Portuguese owned restaurant 'The Fisherman' will fly Bacalhau in for you but offers similar great seafood alternatives. Disappointment was however experienced with the no-show of staff at two historical buildings, Felsenkirche and Goerke House, despite claiming to be open. Many tourists had to turn around.

We arrived at 6pm in Lüderitz, and booked when we saw the weather. Five minutes later, Phyllicia answered us and we were welcomed open arms with a shiny smile. She will do everything she can to make your stay as comfortable as possible (even to go buy you some beers, thanks again to her husband btw). The studio is comfy, kitchen full equipped, bathroom too (shampoo, conditionner, tooth brush, tooth paste, Q-tip...). Just amazing, thank you Phyllicia.

    - The place is practically in the downtown (if Lüderitz has anything like a downtown) - Amazing hosts, very friendly and welcoming - The room and the bed were super comfortable - The dining room was a very nice place to start the day (breakfast was amazing, too) - Portable heater is already part of the room (evenings and nights near the Atlantic can be really cold) - We loved the atmosphere of the entire house

Well located guest house in the heart of Luderitz. Not much to look at from the outside, but the courtyard inside is lush , tranquil and cool. Units are self catering, clean and modern and come with everything you need. Hosts were super friendly and always made sure we were well looked after. Although in the heart of the town and parking is outside, there is 24 hour security And we never ever felt uneasy

The two hotel managers were extremely helpful to us going above and beyond what they had to do. We arrived too late to purchase early morning tickets to Kolmanskop. This was critical as we only had one morning to do this or we missed it. They contacted a local tourist agent after hours and we worked it out in record time. Much appreciated and such good representatives of the hotel.

The apartment is very nice and modern equipped. The private parking is good and safe, there is also a guardian. The apartment faces the ocean, it is possible to see an amazing sunset. The centre of the Luderitz is only 5 minutes wak. There is the necessary tools to have breakfast and a fast lunch.

Very friendly staff, including Timo, the owner, who I ran into on a couple of occasions, out and about in Luderitz. This included havring a slice of Easter cheesecake each in my favourite restaurant there. The microwave also came in handy when all the food outlets closed on Good Friday. 😊

Very comfortable apartments with well thought-out details. The bed was probably the most comfortable that we have slept on in Namibia. Phyllicia is a very warm and generous host who made sure that we had a great stay! We would be happy to stay at her place again next time we visit Luderitz
