The cottage was cozy with living-kitchen downstairs and sleeping upstairs. The structure is wooden and therefore a bit squeaky, as it should be. The surroundings have an immediate coastline path and several mountain peak hikes. An excellent co-op just a km away and fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook nice meals.

Although we enjoyed slow days with the views from the house in the morning or evenings in front of the fireplace, you are well connected to the Lofoten for a day trip (ferry from Melbu) or nearby Stokmarknes with places to stock up on groceries or a floating sauna you can book.
