The owner was friendly and helpful. The Bedroom was spacious and beautifully furnished in the period of the House. The bathroom was clean and spacious. We were allowed to use the lounge room and the continental breakfast in the dining room was superb.

Wonderful place, it is a working menage so if you like...
Wonderful place, it is a working menage so if you like horses, and kids learning to ride you'ĺl love it. Cleaning was very good also the room with shower etc. Fridge a bit small and wanky door but for the rest perfect.

They are exceedingly helpful and couldn’t have been nicer. Our room was quite large and very well furnished and the bathroom had a large shower and everything worked well. The swimming pool in the back was great for cooling off our feet after the long days walk and they had a washboard and place to line dry clothing. We loved the spa and indoor pool and we strongly recommend getting a massage there. The restaurant has great food and we didn't even want to go out for dinner. One of the high points was without any doubt the staff. We will definitely be coming back!

Quartos do Lagar seemed good and we booked and then arrived 15 minutes later. The host was charming, the room was comfortable, and the water in the shower was piping hot. All we could ask for!

I was doing the Camino walk and he even offered to give me a ride into Golega for the last 5km of my walk. I did politely decline. He also offered a taxi service for my mother who was coming in by train. He greeted us with the friendliest of welcomes and even changed our room free of charge.
